    Can you name all the songs that inspired the tracks today? Drop em down in the comments and let us know how you found the pedal today too 👍

    Great job playing the song without playing it. That's a skill🔥

      It takes a lot of self control to bit revert back to the original 🤣🤣 Cheers for the kind words 👍

    Nice job on this video. I love the pedal, really helps clean things up. Smoothing out across highs and lows

    Some great tones in this video, I think I need a compressor

      Absolutely. It goes from your standard squishy comp to a full on studio style compressor and everything in between 👍

    How do feel this compares to the Cali76 Compact Deluxe or DryBell Unit 67, and which would you recommend? They all seem to be based on (or interpretations of) the UA 1176.

      I've not personally tried either. Lee, on our team, has a Cali and swears by it. I think the origin stuff is perhaps a bit more involved than this one, I found the Wampler very easy to dial in. I think they are all well respected, so I'm not sure there is a bad choice to be had. Hope that helps 👍

    Would this be considered an upgrade to the standard Ego, or do these two have different applications?

    • @PBOD
      @PBOD  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah, I think we are looking at 2 different types of comp here. The 76 definitely aims at that studio polish kind of compression, where I think the standard ego is a more classic guitar pedal commission. I've not tried the original ego, but I've heard great things about it. I can say the ego 76 is fantastic though 👍

    Right now I just have the SA Atlas. Not bad at all. Would work great in a midi system. But I think I will pick this one up also.

      @@PBODYea, I went on a journey figuring out what 1st comp I would get. Could not justify the cost of a Cali 76. Figured the Atlas would be good to try, and not a week after I got it the Ego 76 came out lol

      @@BudgetPedalChapYea, I would have rather just bought the Wampler, but I am not mad about it. The Atlas is really useful, it will probably get moved to the end of my board to do stereo compression and eq.

    do you have any experience with the keeley comp plus? i wonder how the ego 76 compares to it.

    • @PBOD
      @PBOD  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do not unfortunately. Keeley make some great stuff though, so I'm sure you'll be getting a great comp either way. What features are you after and what kind of sound are you hoping to get with it?

    If using with a UAFX dream would you put after?

    • @PBOD
      @PBOD  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you put it at the end of the chain, it'll kind of act like a studio comp. It'll glue everything together and give a nice even tone. If you put it at the start, it'll even out pick dynamics and make the tone feel better to play. Experiment and see what you like 👍 let me know what you decide

      @@PBOD thanks. My chain is boost, compressor, drives, dream, then delay, verbs. But post dream it’s all stereo, so guess would have to out after dream
