Hard kneed riffs
I'd like to A/B this with an Origin Cali76-TX, (big box).
Good feature set on this one. I notice that Brian tends to put a tone control on all his Compressors though, which I find odd. I guess it’s supposed to be used to balance the treble and bass when the bass is compressing more than the highs?
As a long term Ego Mini user I find the tone dip switch is almost like a presence control and it seemed the same here. So if you want that Vox like chime that, when overdriven, becomes sizzle, you can ensure it's there.
I've got a pretty good ear, but I can hardly ever tell the difference between compression and normal?
That compressor before or after the drive?
Teal hair?
