Tip, for anybody scared of splicing wires at home, or dont have the tools. if the light you buy for your enclosure has that little on and off switch attached on the wire, that can be opened inside it you can simply unscrew two small screws and the wire will come out already deattached, route it in the hole you made into the terrarium and reattach the wire inside that switch.

Thank you!!! Waiting for the bigger sizes, but starting to get excited to get my first Vision. I have researched all the new PVC enclosures, but my gut is telling me Vision and still is. 😊😊😊

Pro tip if you offset the wires "one color higher other lower will make it cleaner when rapped and not bulky also if some reason fails bare wires are away from other wire

Hey will. Whenever your crimping butt connectors make sure both sides are crimped on the same side. You should never crimp them where on one side it's flat on the top and bottom and the other side is flattened on the left and right when compared to the opposite side. When the are crimped in opposite direction one side can cause the other to loosen the crimp and cause a fire risk.

lol as somwone who has worked a lot with silicone, it oddly weirded me out the thought of not running your finger over the beading. Awesome video WillZilla! Love those lights too!

This was great! Been very curious about how you set up the lights and individual heating per cage. Bet your outlet situation is a nightmare though 🤣

Do you have a tutorial vid showing exactly how to duct tape the heat pad in there? You're the only video I've seen so fsr that has even mentioned it lol I'm trying to get a vision cage for my ball python but I have no clue where to start with the heat pad.

Thank you for this! I have glass cages and want to convert to pvc or vision cage. I want to lean towards vision cages, but they seem slightly harder to setup heat/humidity than PVC. I like that low profile heat lamp. I live in cold winter climate and am thinking I will need more than just a heat pad. I want the 221 (28x22x12) but it seams you can't have secondary heat source. Have you ever mounted radiant heat panels in a vision cage? Im most worried about ambient temperature and thinking a heat pad won't affect air temp.

Is there a reason why you don’t use solder seal connectors or heat shrink tubes for it ? Saves you taping and locks smoother...... ?

Damnit. I want to see how to heat the cage with a heat pad, so the cage has a heat gradient. It is annoying how hard it is to find info on the best way to do it.
