- Naomi shows off the miniatures of the Warhammer 40K Kill Team Nachmund box set given to her by Games Workshop and chats about the various weapon and build options and any problems that may have arisen during assembly.
Chaos Space Marines versus Aeldari Corsairs raging it out on Mechanicus terrain!
that chaos space marine is holding a heavy bolter (look at past editions of metal devastators)
The new thing with this one is that chaos heavy bolters has prevously not used fully sealed belt boxes for the ammo.
Nice to see those corsairs out of box and off the sprue!
It's a heavy bolter of some type
I just feel compelled to add some servos, a winch motor and a couple of chains to that crane, controlled by miniature metal levers to scale, connected to hidden electric switches, one on-off switch and four two position switches that return to neutral. One for traversing, one for raising and lowering the boom, one for the winch and one for closing and opening the claw.
And also to magnetize all the hatches and pipe ends
I love the idea of space pirates! Red Corsairs and Aeldari Corsairs are both awesome and good projects.
Interesting set. I'm glad the Eldar are getting some love.
This is a great set. So much terrain and some nice mini's to. Thanks for putting all this together to show it off!
A lot will probably change in the upcoming chaos codex.
This is a cool set of minis
This boxset you could add with the Killzone: Chalnath or Octarius to expand it the terrain pieces to make the area more diverse.
That looks like a Heavy Bolter.
Thank you , Lady Naomi .
🐺
Thank you for taking the time to assemble them all... you get a mich better idea.of whats in the box.
The reaper gunner has a drum bum. :p
Btw build your corsairs with all characters, leave the heavy for last if at all, and build your chaos space marines with a champion, balefire, plasma, butcher, knives and possessed. Then a Melta, an icon bearer, and two heavy gunners.
21:48 I'm pretty sure that's a wraithcanon from the wraith guard.
A set of translucent dice for 31.50 € ? GW has gone insane!
yep
Just ordered my own. Thanks for the review.
The models are nice, but the scenery has always just seemed a little too plain with not enough elevated fighting platforms. I am more excited about getting the models from the Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress kit to add to my collection. Thanks for the video though - Awesome as always!
I do love those models too! And Black Fortress in general, Abominable mode 😁
The weapon you do not know is called a Chaos Heavy Bolter and God help the guy who is assigned to carry it, as he would need power armour.
Hello Sword and Steel hope you are doing well :).
What Primer paint did you use on your terrain?
and what are your thoughts on a new player who is thinking about starting kill team with the new addition of the game?
I would say go for the Starter set to learn to play or a handy online tutorial 🤔 The new Kill Team core book itself isn't exactly new person friendly at the moment, but with some breakdown of the rules as you first start, it's fun to play!
I used Vallejo Surface Primer Gloss Black thinned with a little Airbrush Flow Improver through my Iwata Revolution airbrush :)
@@swordnsteele712 thank for the reply and the information you have given me 😊
Thanks , very cool background😗
its an old school heavy bolter mold i think
It's the current heavy bolter, from the 2019 Chaos Space Marine's box. Just a standard heavy weapon
Ahhh, silly me 😄
Thank you, the heavy bolters I have assembled haven't looked like that
@@swordnsteele712 the chaos heavy bolters has previously always used free hanging belts or semi-open belt boxes where the ammo belt is visible from the sides.
Just got my copy and be wary that there are no instructions for one of the Corsair's Specialists, the Kurnathi. There are 2 non heavy gunners instead, so you have to do it yourself.
1, its a heavy bolter. 2. maybe let air out of the radiator ? could be the issue. dont know
The heavy weapon is a Heavy Bolter
Can I ask, what was the metallic paint used on the terrain? I couldn't quite make it out
Vallejo Metal Color Duraluminium over a Vallejo Gloss Black Surface Primer.
@@dekai7992 you're a star, thank you
Thx for this video. I could not find any non-rules review on the entirety of google
Naomi, have you ever painted Eldar of any flavor? The shapes and textures would seem to take well to your painting style.
I recently received an order of Eldar from a most excellent shop and trying to decide if I want to resurrect a 20-year-old paint scheme or do something brand new. I may be fishing for inspiration.
Lol, well I have been thinking Ulthwe or Altanzar 🤔
I like Altanzar's colour scheme and Maughan Ra
But I want Ulthwe for the Psychic abilities and using Eldrad Ulthran...
I haven't decided who wins yet...
I don't want another black armoured army 😳
So will probably being doing my own... glittering version of Ulthwe... using colourshifting paints over the black ... so black at a distance but colourful after the first glance......🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
@@swordnsteele712 My Dark Eldar use the Electric Blue/Intense Violet Shifters paint. I'd like to see the not as bad space elves done in a color shift too.
I’m looking forward to the play through’s
Nice review!
hi ! i have a question can you build every corsair with 2 blade ?
Corsairs look great, are those on 28mm bases or 32? Seem a little big.
They are 28mm. The Chaos Space Marines are on 32mm :)
So there an new CSM sprue that has the champion/sorcerer +upgrades?
Yes.
I love her voice
heavy bolter...
Not gonna mention the gigantic hole in the back of the crane?
It IS odd, isn't it? 😄 But mine has a teeny miniature hanging in it so I made good use of it 😬
The weapons you cant name are heavy bolter and melta.
You get 20 miniatures 😂
😀👍
The crane is missing a part.
Heavy Bolter
Kind of a waste to arm them for 40k, specially the CSM that's the exact same loadout they had with the compendium rules, meaning they will be a far less powerful team in KT than using the specialists.
;)
08:00 - That's the Heavy Bolter (see Nachmund page 37 and 42)... they're only one of the oldest weapons in Warhammer 40,000...
14:50 - A meltagun (see Nachmund page 37 and 41)... another weapon that has been part of 40,000 for a very long time.
21:50 - Not quite. That's a Wraithcannon.
The option i chose?
Not to buy this vastly overpriced, terrible box set.
What a gigantic waste of money buy a 3D printer
Naomi owns and runs a games hobby store. If you prefer 3d printing you won't find it here and there'sno point in suggesting to get one.
Lmfao it would cost more in resin and time to print a lesser quality product and still not have the other box contents
As an Eldar player of 23 years, I'm incredibly stoked for these Corsairs. I also own a 3d printer. However, I won't be printing these Corsairs with it. Why not let people like what they like?
