26:08 Yes they do. Think about it. First impressions are everything. This only happens when a guy is younger, and less experienced. It's when a guy has an idea of what they're doing it gets easier. Yes we pep talk in the mirror. My wife was the last one I did that whole motivational speech. Guys get nervous because they really like the girl, and that's even when a guy knows what they're doing. Don't girls get nervous when they enter that room with a guy they really like, and getting that close when it hasn't happened. The heart beat flickering higher and higher. This is even before the kiss.

4:55 The AP courses I took in High School left a few open periods during school Hours so I opted to take Home Ec, Basically a cooking and cleaning class. One of the best decisions I made. Between That class and my parent working all the time, I turned out to be an amazing chef. Anyone with the opportunity to take Home Ec, I recommend you take it. I'd just make a snack and do homework for my other classes, most days.
I took typing hoping to meet girls. It was a sausage fest, full of other guys also trying to meet girls. The typing came in really handy, as it turned out. Shop class was great. Kung Fu was a popular TV show at the time, so we spent all our time making ninjas stars, throwing knives, and slingshots out of bar stock. I still have the slingshot more that 40 years later.
Right? This came out when I was in high school, staring down the barrel of adulthood right around the corner. The end hit me a certain way at that time.
@@ave0828 I went to a 6A school in texas and it had a little over 2,000 students so I'm guessing a 7A school would have 3,000 or more students. That's crazy lol. That's a lot of kids.

Most US schools used to have that stuff. Most don't have near those things to help prepare kids to be adults anymore. We had shop class, but it was just woodworking. Didn't have Home Economics even offered.
U.S. high schools don't usually offer a cooking class, but they _do_ have one called "home ec" (short for "home economics") where they teach common household life skills like cooking, sewing, and cleaning. Since it covers traditional "housewife skills," it used to be required for all girls -- boys would take "shop" (carpentry, plumbing, fixing cars, etc.) -- but it's no longer segregated like that. And these are sometimes not a requirement any more.
Lots of American high and middle schools have a cooking class that is an extra curricular class that you can take. I took it in middle school once and high school senior year once. It was easy and fun. You get to make lots f good food, you get to eat it, and you get to take the recipes home. There were lots of other cool classes you could pick including wood shop, metal shop, theatre, and more. My high school is located on the Bay Area, not at all a rural farm area, yet my high school had a little farm and you could take a class where you adopt a farm animal and raise it throughout the year at the farm. You could chose between pigs and chickens, I can't remember if there was a third animal available.
Yeah, Home Ec is a weird throwback to the 50's where young girls were taught how to be good housewives, and later they added male students after the women's lib era and claimed it was a "life experience prep" class. It's ridiculous and pointless is what it is. :/ American education system is hot garbage.

The inbetweeners is a British series which is very similar and even more hilarious and also has two films which should be watched after the series. However it has a lot of slang that a foreigner might not understand
Seth Rogen-famous comedic actor- the cop with the moustache, wrote this story about his teenage years, along with his best friend Evan. The two main characters are based on them.
We had cooking classes when I was in high school and I loved them. I’ve been studying cooking ever since I was 6 so by the time high school came around I was already cooking many foods my classmates didn’t even know how to cook. I had so much fun I aced the class. So to answer your question yes guys do love too cook. I think it’s amazing.
At my high school in the US, cooking class was considered an optional elective class that you could take. Every semester you get one elective class that aren't part of any major curriculum (like cooking class, mechanic shop class, drama/dance class) things that weren't your typical math/science/history etc. They were indeed considered the "fun" classes. In senior year you were also allowed to opt out of an elective for 6th period so you could basically get out of school an hour early.
In my American high school we had to take English, Math, History, Science, and PE (Physical Education - Play Sports) each year and then we get to choose an "elective" (class we choose). My high school we could choose from Spanish language, art, marching band, choir, auto shop (repair cars), horticulture (gardening), newspaper, computer programing, or home economics (things about running a home - cooking, taxes, pretending to be married, pretending an egg was our child, budget, etc).
Yes American schools do have a lot of different classes. In my state we took 'Home Economics' in 7th grade and for the first half of the year everyone learns to sew (pillow cases, bags, buttons) and then you sew an apron. The second part of the year is cooking and you wear the apron you sewed for the cooking classes. In high school everyone takes woodshop as well and in my school everyone made a folding stool. At the end of the year it was like tradition to sign everyone's stool just like you would sign a yearbook. There were also different gym and art classes you could take. I took a pottery class and learned archery and aerobics.
There were coming of age-type movies when I was a teen in the 80s. I don't think I ever saw them in theatres at the time. It wasn't until years later after they were released, I saw them via a film night in someone's dorm at college or on TV with scenes edited and language adjusted for American TV audiences. SUPERBAD is one of my favorites. But every generation has their own coming of age-type movies. Certainly most decades have had theirs. Happy Birthday young lady enjoy! Love your reactions!

American high schools often have "Home Ec" which is like this - basic cooking and some other skills but not everyone has to take it. It's not a requirement. Also many schools had "Shop" where you learned how to use tools and make things. Again that's an elective course that you took if you wanted to. It's not required like history and math. It's pretty cool though because you can at least test the waters at a young age to see if you like things like that.
