Every line has potential to be either hilarious or goosebump invoking. Even though the dark, gritty feel of the comics was mostly exchanged for sci-fi action comedy, I think that was a stroke of genius, and to be fair, there are some dark and gritty moments throughout the trilogy (MIB International doesn't count). This film is simply a masterpiece. One of my favourite franchises. P.S. In English, the bug at the very start is called a Dragonfly. A very cartoonish and animated Dragonfly.

The bug in the beginning is called a dragonfly, the job of tending to the dead is called a mortician (examining dead for cause of death is called a coroner) and the kickback from a gun is called recoil. This concludes today's English 101 class.
Also, the English name of the breed of the dog is "pug" (she was calling it "мопс" in Russian). She also asked "What is 'gills'?". This is "жабры" in Russian.

J: "Did you ever flashy thing me?"
K: "No."
J: "I'm not playing with you K, you ever flashy thing me?"
K: "No."
"Never touch the red Button!" - And then your commercial, "Don't forget to subscribe" and so on, so to touch the red Button :-) - That's perfect timing :-)
25:43 "How you doin'?"
"Hello."
"I'm Sargent Friday. The story you're about to hear is true. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent."
27:45 J - "you do know Elvis is dead, right?"
K- " Elvis is not dead, he just went home!"
12:02 RIP WTC Twin Towers 9/11/2001 - Also great reaction Dasha!!
Dasha: "His life has just been turned upside down".... Oh you have no idea how accurate that is! 🤣
In English this flying insect is called a dragonfly
6:54 Gills are the breathing organs of fish and other water-breathing creatures.
10:20 ....Probably this was the real test..... To see who was clever enough to pick the table.....
Fun fact about the Noisy Cricket, they internally give it to the newbies to teach them their whole motto of assessing everything and things are quite different from what they appear. And secretly it's a hazing ritual with a betting pool behind the scenes where veteran agents bet money on how far the agent flys back after firing the gun the first time.
The bug in the beginning is called a dragonfly, the job of tending to the dead is called a mortician (examining dead for cause of death is called a coroner) and the kickback from a gun is called recoil. This concludes today's English 101 class.
And to the Arquillian Royal family: around the neck it's a COLLAR, not a belt🤦
@@MrTommygunz420 Yeah, but in their defense they were trying to hide its location.
Also, the English name of the breed of the dog is "pug" (she was calling it "мопс" in Russian).
She also asked "What is 'gills'?". This is "жабры" in Russian.
@@Drazzz27 I knew I was forgetting something. I noticed her question about gills before and had meant to answer it.
15:25 - K: "Never touch the red button!:
15:29 - Dasha: "Touch the red button (that says subscribe)."
Sorry to miss the last few. I love Independence Day and Men In Black. I'll try to catch up.
My dad was a FBI agent. He was confronting the USSR agents from 1949-1980. I look at photos of my dad when young and think, "Geez, he was dapper."
Anyone else start having The Fresh Prince theme start playing in their head when Dasha said Will’s life just got turned upside down 😂
I'm sure someone has already pointed this out, but the painting that one of the tabloids parodies is known as American Gothic and contrary to what pop culture will tell you, the subjects in the painting were not husband and wife, but father and daughter
You will LOVE "Casablanca"!
0:43: In English, it's called a dragonfly.
6:58: Gills are those open flaps on the side of fishes to help them breathe in water and out. For the guy having gills in the eyes, it could be the alien breathing in just air through them.
19:19: The word you're looking for in English to explain what she is, is a mortician. Coroner is another word for the same work too.
Fun Fact : when will was stomping on the roaches, he was actually stepping on mustard packs
Part 2 K comes back and has his memory restored. Part 3 towards the end will make you cry Dasha
Most people don't notice. The guy with the bug spray stuck to the ceiling is actually in the second movie as a different character
Insect from beginning is called a Dragon Fly.
Dasha really needs to watch the Deadpool movies. she will love them
She should watch them in release order with the X-Men movies.
Yes, that is what a stair master is. Also, the big in the beginning is called a dragonfly in English.
The bug was a dragonfly.
We have pierogies in most stores.
Push from a gun is called 'kick-back'.
The lady is Linda Fiorentino. You should see her in the movie "Dogma" by Kevin Smith. Hilarious.
(13:55) If you must know who that guy on the top left, Dasha, it's the legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg.
What a fun reaction. Loved it. I think the whole trilogy is great and worth watching.
I didn't know until recently, but the actor that plays the main bad Alien guy also plays Pyle from Full Metal Jacket.
All these years, I never knew.
The look on your face when the dog started talking😁
Will Smith wasn't finished fighting Aliens after Independence Day 👽👀
This was the movie I first saw Vincent d'Onofrio acting. what an actor
I think you’d really enjoy “The Addams Family” and “Addams Family Values” it’s from the same director and they are iconic. 😎👌🏻
Men in Black is officially 25!
Stinks i missed it in theaters
I think my dad got the vhs
Highest grossing film of 1997 making $250 million
Didn't know for the longest time it was based on a Marvel comic book that ran from 1990-1991
Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith make quite the team up battling aliens from outer space to keep Earth safe and in the dark
This was also my first introduction to Vincent D' Nofrio, Rip Torn, and Linda Fiorentino
Director Barry Sonnenfeld perfectly blends sci-fi, action, and comedy
Terrific practical and digital effects by Rick Baker and by Industrial Light & Magic
Great music by Danny Elfman and Will Smith's music video is catchy
Loved going to that attraction at universal studios with mom and dad
Pretty nice it lead to a cartoon series on the WB and 3 sequels but the original is still the best
Love your thumbnail pic btw 😎
In English a backfire would be a gun malfunction, and is very rare. What you're describing where you get pushed back by the force is kickback
Damn! 1997? Has it been that long? I still think of this as a relatively new movie and Will Smith having just made a name for himself as a movie star. Who the hell snuck in and stole all those years when i wasnt looking?
It gets worse than you think. In a few months, the original "Men in Black,' turns 25 years old.
Peak Will Smith. Big Willy style
"N-Y-P-D means I will kNock Your Punk-a** Down!" Cracks me up every single time.🤣🤣🤣
Casablanca is a WWII movie about French run but German occupied town in north Africa. This was after Germany conquered France. Rick (Humphrey Bogart) runs a casino/bar and obtained two letters of transit that will allow anyone to travel through German territories without question. It's a story about romance and fighting the Nazis. Check it out.
Another great reaction of another great movie. You have such a delightful laugh. Now I have to see if you already did MIB II
0:36 It's called a dragonfly
23:21 The word is "recoil"
25:46 Sgt Friday is a reference to a classic American police show ‘Dragnet’ , Tom hanks made a spoof of it in 1987.
I believe it was both Tom Hanks and Dan Aykroyd.
@@filthycasual8187 yes Akroid was in it too. It was a fun movie
Will Smith was an undercover policeman, that's why he kept saying NYPD= New York Police Department.
I loved the cars throughout these movie especially when they push the red button and go into hyperspeed. that's what makes MIB cool and sci-fi worthy.
Every time I get "flashed" by "temperature takers" I always ask them how much M.I.B. is paying them. After getting "flashed" I always ask where to go buy a 12 pack of beer.😁
He he, I saw this movie on VHS Cassette when it was released. It was a great experience back then and still is
Thx for your reaction vids 👍☺️
The flying bug at the beginning is called a 'Dragonfly'.
23:22 the word you're looking for is 'recoil'. Love your reactions, btw!
The insect at the beginning of the movie is called a dragonfly in English. What does the Russian name for dragonfly literally translate to?
The Men in Black movies are based on comicbooks owned by Marvel, so, technically, the Men in Black films are Marvel movies! Whoo!
" You don't like it you can kiss my furry little butt ".
Really love that line. 😂❤️
32:01 in the United States of America there was a television program called Big Blue Marble--The Earth is green but muchly water [as are people, perhaps], But from outter space it looks like a blue ball [no comment] or a blue marble as in the "Men In Black" ending.-Ernie Moore Jr.
That motion backfire is called a recoil, recoil, mylady, it means it comes back.
Tommy Lee Jones is a MASTER of grumpy, deadpan, curmudgeonly snark. He was great in The Fugitive, too. 90s Will Smith matching wits and snark WITH Tommy Lee Jones makes this a masterpiece.
The late, great, Rip Torn. Such a great character actor.
The painting is called American Gothic.
Sgt. Friday is a reference to a classic TV show called Dragnet. Dan Akroyd and Tom Hanks did an affectionate parody movie back in the 80s, with Akroyd as the nephew of the original Joe Friday (Harry Morgan, of MASH fame, reprised his role from the series). GREAT and very funny movie, you'd probably like it.
The backfire word you were looking for with the gun is called RECOIL😊
Great reaction this a great movie 🔥🔥🔥💯💯 no Elvis is not dead he just went home
24:22 😆😆😆 Yeah. That's about how _I_ reacted. Classic scene. Awesome disguise.
1. Edgar/Bug = Vincent D'onofrio played Gomer Pyle in Full Medal Jacket.
2. Tommy Lee Jones' roommate in college was Al Gore.
3. Jones has claimed that he's never had a part that he didn't love and doesn't have a job.
Just a hobby that pays very good.
4. The term you're looking for regarding the cricket is "recoil"
5. Tell me this wasn't a fun movie. I dare you.
Another awesome movie with Tommy Lee is No Country For Old Men. You'll also get to see Javier Bardem sporting the greatest hairstyle known to man.
When he shoots that little we pew pew of a gun thats called recoil :)
