I love her accent and her genuine joy when she's hitting those slices with the Shift!

Glad to have found you on TH-cam. I'm also a Pro staff user but have recently just purchased a shift pro. I was looking forward to watching this comparison but the rackets seem to have different strings so I'm not sure how useful it is. Judging by all the string movement on your prostaff it seems like that's not a poly and the shift has poly. Do you remember what the strings were on these rackets?

I highly suggest you try hitting with the Wilson SHIFT first before using your own racket because most of the times when you start using your own racket first you’ll transfer over your natural swing path to the next racket..whereas if you start warming up with the SHIFT first, you’ll see the true outcome of how the racket performs… Hopefully that helps with finding the right racket 👍👍👍

Interesting review, I got the shift 315 a few weeks ago but haven't had a chance to hit with it due to injuries and the rain. I was a Wilson pro staff user v13 but went on to the Diadem Elevate tour 98 v3 model which is also 315 grams. Loved the racket feel, but for me it seems to spray the ball around more than the v13. I'm hoping that the shift since it's a 18x20 pattern will give it the control and precision of the pro staff v13 and the power of the Elevate tour v3. Hopefully the shift will be a mixture of the two rackets. Going to be interesting to see what will be a better fit for my game. Thanks for the data between the pro staff and the shift

Nice demonstration. I was interested that you felt Shift 315 had more power, feel, and spin vs. PS97v13 which had better placement. As this was 18x20 vs 16x19, I would expect the exact opposite! I am exploring Shift 315 as my primary racket (18x20) but keeping my two year old PS97v13 as a trusty backup. What strings/tensions would you recommend for "pairing" these? (66 yr old 4.0+ club level, likes hybrids @49lbs, plays 2x/week).

The cue sensor tech does not seem to be available to purchase by the general public and only seems to work on an IPhone. Why only on an IPhone since the data is coming from the sensor on the grip of the racquets . Lastly , does not the sensors weight at the grip skew the results vs placing no weight at the handle , unless you compensate at the head . Then lastly would the app make a modification in order to ajust the performance results relative to the weight / balance performance ? differences.

What percentage of difference do you think the thicker beam and sheer size of th 99 inch head has in the out performing of the pro staff v13 , versus shift tech and weight distributions that can brought to other racquets in the future like the prostaff ? The racquets must not be in the same thickness and head size range . If it must be in the same range , then how good can the tech really be other than competing a bit with heads auxetic .

The shift like the pro staff v14 seem more and more to be aimed at general market penetration and to facilitate general strengths from the lower body and increasing upper body power . The v14 and shift benefitting women for upper body strength , the elderly as well as poss heavier people who have shorter swings . The v13 definitely is geared to the pro performance like player , which supports the right body morphology and player mentality , especially at a size 2 grip for grip to head proportionality . There does not seem to be a U.S chapter of the British LTA , are you therefore a member of the main British arm vs isle of man or Scotland ?

      That's a 315, I counted the mains. There are 18 (the 300 only has 16)
