Yes Starrette is now made in China, you can’t find an American made caliper anymore, sucks right! Mine is about 20years old and made in the USA.

Just bought a used ZT with that same engine and it smokes like a chimney. Owner was upfront about it and was defintely reflected in the price. Havent tore into it yet, but this and your other videos will definitely help when I start! Hoping its just head gaskets though. Thanks Brotha!
Stay turned am about to post another video on it
! I love the energy
Thanks I have a lot of fun playing with these especially the engine videos
That was so good I watched it twice.
Ah shucks guy!
Surely to get cross hatching the drill has to be used clockwise and anticlockwise? Did your engine have good compression and not burn oil when you ran it?
Ran great. Don’t think to deep on it.
@@MowerMike Good advice, I overthink things.
P.s…those sneakers are pretty gangster
Right! Can’t get those dirty
I don't agree with how you measure the piston. They seldom wear at the top of the stroke . Do go shead snd measure the top to spec and put sn old or new piston ring snd measure the gap. Invert your old piston and it will push the ring and keep it square down the bore. If the bore is not worn, the ting gap will stay the same.
Good trick! I am going to use that on a chainsaw motor I am building right now
i need that hone where and grit please
