This the great patriot and prophet.
I'm learning so much in getting to know Pres Bensen. I joined the church in 2005 when Pres. Hinkley was a prophet. Pres Bensen brings to my mind the things that our minds should focus on, especially in our day!
I wish we had an "Ezra Taft Benson" in the Church leadership today.
If we want to be on the correct side, we had better be on Ezra Taft Benson's side.

I wish the current leadership of the church would be outspoken like Ezra T Benson on current issues.
It's difficult as the church is far more worldwide now with various viewpoints on government.

I spent 10 mins with president Benson he was in the back of his Mercedes and was in the front driving him to the church offices , l was working as a salesman for Ken Garf and was asked by the service manager to drop this gentleman to the church offices not telling me that this was a church apostle because l was a young Englishmen he picked up my accent and he talked about the time he was in England and Germany just after the war .When l returned all the lds boys snigering and l can not believe l didn't recognize this great man ,my only regret l have after all these years is that l could of perhaps asked a few relevant things to a apostle of the lord.

A little realityWe the American people (each of us) are responsible for our country!!!!! In any civilization, past, present or future, under any form of government, pharaoh, dictator, king, ceasor, communism, socialism, republic, parliament or congress, there is only one person responsible and you can meet that person when you look in the mirror to comb your hair, shave your face or put on your makeup. That is the person responsible!!! When we abrogate our responsibilies to any form of government, that government, driven by their own narcissism and greed will eventually make us their pons and slaves. It is time to mature, stop blaming congress, the president, the Federal Reserve or government in general. We are the problem!!!
There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there's perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account concerning the garden of Eden. It's called Canaan, Babylon, and Egypt A Comparative Theological Analysis on Creation sold by Eborn Books.

What??
If anyone wants to know what the people who belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believe they should read the scriptures they follow (keeping in mind they are imperfect humans) and study the doctrine taught in them. The Bible, the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants. People who have disaffected themselves from the religion obviously have an axe to grind. 🙂
Thank God we live in a country where we can expose cults like Mormonism and Islam. To hell with false prophets.
