The Linnstrument sends midi information per channel and does the same thing. It turns DT2 into a very powerful 16 voice synth if that’s what ya want. 👍. I enjoyed the vid. Thanks
Yeah, making the DTII a 16 voice stereo polysynth is very cool! I wonder if there are other controllers that do it beyond the Linnstrument. Or if it had MPE support that would open up more options I think.
@@FiniteStateMachineMusic MPE support would be awesome. When you think about every single voice out of 16 having independent amp envelopes, filter envelopes, effects, 3 lfo’s, retrig…you can do some crazy stuff
That's definitely an option too! Using all 16 voices is overkill for sure but it's a cool demonstration. I'd likely use 2-4 for my practical purposes and I'd probably end up resampling them when I need more room on a pattern.

Nice but I find more efficient to midi control a synth from DT II and then resample the chords in audio. It uses only 2 tracks
