My biggest concern when we drafted AR was that we took a project qb with tons of potential and upside but then would ruin him by not properly developing him and instead rush him into starting because he was high draft pick and this appears to be exactly what we did. He is a heck of an athlete and that does show up on film at times but we are lying to ourselves if we think that he just needs game reps. The game reps that he needed were in college where his athleticism could mask his other issues while he develops but that isn't going to work in the NFL. The coaching staff started the clock on him when they said all he needs to develop are game reps and named him the starter. Great kid and I hope he puts it together to be the guy for us for a long time but I am not confident that this coaching staff can develop him as a passer based on how they have handled it so far.
Remember 2022 when Matt Ryan showed fans and the league that he was washed up and Baker Mayfield was a free agent publicly talking about how much he wanted to come and play for the Colts? Then instead of taking a chance on a low risk high reward young qb that wouldn't cost us any draft capital the Colts (Ballard) said no thank you then drafted a developmental qb and rushed him onto the field while Baker has gone on to have success with the Bucs averaging over 2 td's per game in his time there. I will continue to say this until a change finally happens but Ballard HAS and WILL continue to hold this team back with bad decisions.
Still a AR fan no reason to risk him in a lost season. I think you give him one more year with a full offseason. Not everyday you see this type of QB and to just give up on him KNOWING it was a 2-3 year project when they drafted him and fans were cool with that. Rich is not the problem with this team and it shows in the record when he doesn’t play. Get him a big TE who can catch and a good #2 HB to take the load off him and JT. Let’s be patient they said the back isn’t chronic
The colts need to Draft the safety from bulldogs first pick second picks Draft TE from Bowling Green and another DE or DT n four QB from Ohio State will Howard to make AR fight for the staring job
We do have Jelani Woods who is 6'8 TE I been saying that we are missing Jelani Woods that Woods will be missed in these games we don't have to draft another TE when we have Jelani Woods who will be back healthy in 2025
We need to wake up from this little fantasy and start looking for a quarterback again. He’s not going to last in the NFL. Can’t make it through a season
I said from the beginning of the season he’s not the answer !! We need a QB !!

This man gets hurt now not even in games or practice , from something from the 8th grade ???? This dude can pull a injury out his ass
Time to admit that AR is Bob Sanders of Quarterbacks.
One more season and then we draft the next franchise QB.
Don't disrespect Bob Sanders like that

I’m quickly losing patience with this kid he’s injury prone he won’t make it in the NFL it’s time to find a new qb i think
