I played in one of the several games Holly used to playtest her running of this scenario. And I see she has made a lot of changes - so far all the changes have really improved things! She also has here a great group of players who play well off of each other. Thom, you've outdone yourself with your garb for the game. David, you're playing your character exactly like the way I picture that character. Seth you're interpretation of your character is not at all what I would have extra - but I like it ALOT. And to the rest of you. I can't wait (well I guess I have to) see the next episode!!!

Great job! I especially like the fact that Holly doesn't require a roll for everything. Sometimes Keepers get a little too roll happy in my opinion. If it is obvious, easy to do with time/effort, or can be narratively described in a satisfactory manner, a roll is not needed. At least, in my opinion...🙂
Excited to see all of y'all finish out this game! I just played this adventure yesterday over Discord, I played Sydney as trying to be the voice of reason, in contrast to our Jack who became the menace of the mansion the first night, getting drunk, hurting himself a little, and ranting, no spoilers for what happened though - but I might've made the mistake of not reading the journal before going to sleep the first night. I can't wait to see how this turns out for everyone!

At first, I flipped back and forth to Seth's review of the module until I got a feel for which character everyone was playing. I would love to either have a brief description of each character added beneath their names, or add the module picture/name/description to the default, so that when they turned off their camera, that placeholder would show. Keep the camera off at the beginning of the adventure and when they are not in the room to emphasize who they are playing. Thank you!
They never turn off their cameras. Every time they accidentally turn off their camera all the feeds shift on my recording. I would have to edit their placement 5 times, which would be a major hassle. Its an interesting idea, but we are doing this to play and have fun. Doing that much editing becomes work. But if I was getting compensated more by Patreon, I might consider it. Hah splendid! Though I cant help but laugh that Fiona Duncan means "fair one" "dark warrior", though perhaps that's not the only contradiction present with that character : D
However for true synergy Harvey Duncan means Battle worthy Dark warrior, so I guess that makes up for it.

Yes. Now that you point it out its a typo in the text. It should be 1677.
In another part of the text it says the house was built over 250 years ago.

Uncle TImothy's Will was I think the first Call of Cthulhu scenario I was ever exposed to, and I love it so much. I hear from HWR that the original was in another language. It's available with a collection from Chaosium; that I didn't know. Are there physical copies available, or is it PDF only?
Sadly, if you wanted a copy of Blood Brothers it would have to be second-hand. It was published in 1990 and hasn't seen a re-print. Possibly because of the non-mythos nature of the scenarios, there's not enough interest. But I see copies crop up on eBay and other second hand retailers from time to time.
Is it possible to be a bodyguard of one of the family members and/or be a friend of the late Uncle Timothy in this scenario instead of one of the pre-built characters?
The game is designed to make all the players compete/hate one another. A bodyguard might throw a monkey wrench in the setup.
A bit slow but heavy role playing.
Yeah, this scenario is fairly simple and puts a lot of emphasis on the roleplay
I like to watch somewhat experimented players and Keepers to learn to be myself a better Keeper. But Lord, there is always a player with a so awfull internet connection/ bad microphone that he's unintelligible. Sorry, I can't stand it.
