i think that would be arguable. in terms of sales, to what degree? i suppose because simple up-the-middle alt rock is easier to digest for the charts. SP's music was more complex and sophisticated. The Infinite Sadness tour was the biggest rock event in 1996.
Saw these guys live by the waterfront about 40 mins away from me. Very small venue and they closed out the show. They still got it. Mostly played their hits. Tons of energy from Gavin.
I've seen a couple clips of gavin with howard and you can tell he genuinely enjoyed being on his show. He's so reserved and quiet but howard always manages to make him smile. I think I even saw him chuckle a couple times on one of the interviews. Kindve surprising especially given that Howard's humor is the antithesis of British humor. Makes me smile too lol.
They were definitely not the biggest band in the UK at that point. Although I liked them even went to see them around this time. The press unfairly ridiculed them.
@@eivan7246 Yea deffo 95-96 Oasis were biggest band in UK and the Manics. Bush really were not part of the scene. I went to see them in 97 in a smallish venue where as Oasis, Manics etc we’re playing arenas.
If this band came out today they would have them autotuned and sound like everyone else. Bush wasn't perfect but Gavin had a distinctive voice at least
God I miss the 90’s.
I miss 90's girls.
Me too bud. Me too.
@@Joe_Gunn sexiest ever!
Me too class of 2001
@@Joe_Gunn 90’s add the best music ! Miss those days
His voice with the guitar tone is just killer.
Very much.❤
Yes
Love Bush. Miss the 90s, there is no music like this anymore.
Let me buy you a drink
Let me buy you a drink too 😎
The 90s were magnificent
aya q bien
Exactly! You have great taste in music!!
What a legend... on top of the world at that point!
maybe. SP were eating them for breakfast though.
they were unstoppable.
@@kristopherryanwatson well in terms of sells bush was leading but SP had better music.

His voice is amazing. So distinct. Represents 90s grunge
I’m watching this in late December of 2023 and it’s even better now than it was in the 90’s cause I now truly appreciate the sound.
True, I listen to 16 stone all the time, Their best album

Greatest decade of music ever!
70s
20’s
Agreed, but not just for ALT Rock and Grunge. All the genres were poppin' too
I agree, but I was born in 2008 so my opinion is invalid
Loved this band and still do!!! I was only in 6th grade at this point, but was already a huge fan!
Same I was in 6th grade at this time and Bush was everything
Fellow 6th grader at the time
One of the best songs by them ❤ they’re amazing in concert too!
Gavin has such an awesome voice, so talented as well as looking great as always !
Dude can you imagine working for stern at this point? What a party of a job
Luv his voice, that was great performance!
Killer performance
This is so great.
Why the hell doesn't this have more views, thumbs up and share people.
A great time to be alive.
Not a cell phone is sight, just enjoying the music. I miss the 90's.
I was watching some pics from the early 1900s a few days ago and noticed the same thing.
YOU'RE WATCHING THIS FROM A CELL PHONE DIPSH!T!
Back then, top notch cell phones just had the snake game, of course nobody was recording anything, there were no phones with camera.
I mean come on their lives must be miserable without Facebook updates.
@@javo_roma I don't know that there were any phones with games of any kind on them in '96.

Such a great song!
That was epic!
Bad ass song!
I can’t believe not more people know about this song
These ladies in the audience are 40 now😘
And still beautiful
Are u one of them?😃
More 50 I think 😂
Qual problema está tudo bem ! Todos envelhecemos
Amazing voice amazing lead singer/vocalist great band much love ❤ rock on 🤘
That voice hasn't lost a step in all these years either. So good.
back when howard truly was the king
Yep. And now he's just a clown.
*_Legends._*
Those were the days my friend.
You're an excellent singer & performer. You have an excellent band.
Imagine this song being from the number one album on the Billboard 200 chart. That’s how good this time in music was 👌
Damn he sounds great
I have their 1st Canadian album.
We new them as Bushx.
Eu amo essa voz!!!
Bush is da SHIT man! They rock!
Love watching grunge dancing
One of the most underrated bands.
gotta point out the girl in the middle of the group @1:25 - @1:30 😂 She seems extremely confused about what to do.
Great song!!
Omg this is really good!
Haha.. Title is Hilarious! 😂
True
69!
They were the biggest band in the world at this point when they released this joint,
it may have been short lived, but what a great album!

not in UK for whatever reason, too usual? idk. But BUSH ruled MTV during this time for sure. What became of Oaisis? and so forth?
@@gabm999 They sounded to American. In the mid 90s Britpop dominated guitar music in the UK.
Ouvi essa música a primeira vez em 2001 e virei fan na hora
Damn Stern had some classiks over the years🔥💀🔥
i wonder if that was seriously nerve racking trying to perform with these people closing in on you from all sides
Nah looked like a party
Gotta get away from here
Stern was very respectful to hin
Gavin actually called the girls to come up at the end.
EU AMO ESSA MUSICA 🔥
Rockstars ❤️🔥
Do what a classic such an exciting band at the time
Lord Gavin Rossdale was hot in the 90’s 🥵
Grunge, BABY.... GRUNGE...!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sounds great.
Would love to see them tour
awsome bush.timeless
Great Voice.
Wow nice song.
Amazing
Still the only non-US band doing decent grunge. Edit: together with Silverchair
Silverchair was from Australia I think
Love me some Bush!
If this band came out today they would have them autotuned and sound like everyone else. Bush wasn't perfect but Gavin had a distinctive voice at least
wow, yep. the stuff they’re putting out today IS heavily auto tuned lol
Miss the 90s,its fucked now
I miss 90s bush
60's Bush was pretty hairy.
i love bush. i didn't realise they're english
his accent is so thick when speaking!! i had no clue
He 100% played to that room. And that room, of course, is the drooling women.
Imagine how much tali he got from that night alone, not a dry pair of underwear in the studio before he was even halfway done
I am surprised Howard had an audience. Must have been something KRock forced him to do.
They were Nirvana from Britain
Os caras tocam demais ao vivo
Bela música top demais

Always think pixies when I hear this song
These stage extras don’t know a damn thing about how to appreciate this song
♥☺♥
❤
crazy how a slight punctuation change can alter the title's meaning so dramatically.
What a sick true story.
I remember them cleaning up at ‘96 VMAs. Now, I will say this was a time between NKOTB and Backstreet Boys/N’Sync, thus all the girls
Bush🖤🎶Sempre.
Best ever
Razorblade Suitcase their best album.

A room full of women , the rock n roll dream. Bush #1
Gavin talking about “the wave” back in 1996
I feel like this guy sometimes
I love Gavin sm 2:26
And now Glycerine... please?
This song is about Howard and Ralph
Never heard of them. Reminds me of really good local high school bands from the 70’s.
Brilliant to rhyme "swallowed" with "aww no"
ahhh 90s.
When men were men and girls were... wallflowers, apparently. Still... good times!!!
Hey now... I should have gone and seen Bush that night.. just didn't want to rock out alone.. 2019.
He sings “gotta get away from here” as he’s surrounded by women from the audience, a clue into the chaos of stardom.
90s were the best

Aw yes, thank you. 'Cause I couldn't bare to wait the 17 seconds
