Mam we r from southern india.. Here getting authentic dal fry in hotels also a rare thing.. I tried many bt my hubby really never liked dem... Bt dis recipe is top notch.. I make it more Nutritious by adding masoor dal too.. N I also give red chilly ghee garlic n red chilly powder tadka too.. Tadka is must bcz it just take dal to another level.. I made it today... As a complete beginner and to be honest .. I'm kind of scared of Cooking type of person (especially vegetable cutting part) yet I managed.. with lil help from my mom ...for identifying the spicies... mentioned in this video... The only change I made was ...that I used moosur dal... Instead of tur dal...as I love musoor dal more ... The dish came out so good... absolutely loved the taste...and ate way too much 😅.. thanks for the recipe...🎉
