Invent has been my favorite band since 2016. Ever since I heard White Wolf, I knew their was just something different about them. They were my very first metal show and I’ve seen them 3x since, including their headliner last year. They’re just simply the best metalcore band ever, with ERRA and Currents being close seconds. I.A writes raw and from the heart. I have not been this hyped for a record since Greyview and ERRAs self titled. IA Forever ❤

They're definitely my favourite band in terms of breakdown style. Those mid tempo D#1(I think) low string breakdowns are just so good and putting layered synth over it makes it sound so amazing. Their more slow breakdowns are sick too, Shade Astray has one of my favourite breakdowns of all time

The best version of Invent Animate for me is The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was.
Shade Astray is good (chorus especially) but for me it's a little bit just djent, Elysium is great, and this... this lacks some catchy moment, imho, central riff or chorus again
