I had never heard of this show before; I wasn't quite old enough (or even born yet) the first time around, but now the awesome people over at WARNER BROTHERS generously sent me a copy to review. I couldn't wait to give it a watch and a review. Enjoy!

I've heard of this show before, surprised it took this long to get a Blu-ray release.

BTW This blu ray is region free. I have a multi region player and found it plays in all regions A/B/C. Even if the package says Region A it's not region locked.

God i hate these cheap cases especially for 100 plus bucks ! Absolute laziness! Thanks for the review i want this set but I'll wait for a price drop after seeing this case .

The new adventures of superman was 1966. There were 2 more seasons 16 episodes each. Then the new adventures of batman which was 67 or 68 after the original live action tv show. There was a 2nd season with 33 episodes. Then you get superfriends. Shoe horned in there is a ruby-spears superman series from 84 13 episodes. Then nothing till batman the animated series followed then concurrent superman the animated series. There is also a filmation adventures dc super heroes 18 episode series that I think ran after the original 73,74 superfriends series. I own these all on dvd and bought them as they were originally released between 2000 and 2014ish. I'm happy with what I own, so it's not worth a rebuy

One correction needed: “Adventures of Batman” was from ‘68. “New Adventures of Batman” came later in 1977, as the flagship for Filmation’s anthology show “Batman and the Super 7” on CBS-WHILE “Superfriends” was still running over on ABC. Due to eventual licensing issues, Batman was replaced with the easier-to-license Tarzan, and we got “Tarzan and the Super 7.”
