I mainly do alignments and man, sometimes the cleanest looking tie rods can take the most torching just to turn. Most customers would rather wait a couple hours for me to turn half a turn of that damn rod than install a new $50 tie rod that'll turn by hand. The really bad ones are the ones that require the oxyacetylene torch.
