Very, and I mean very underrated, this is what a lot of people want out of ASMR, Just some good old fashion vanilla you know
Not all this fancy stuff and editing, it really takes away the intimacy I think of ASMR, not saying it is intimate (obviously not.)
However the thought of having someone relax you is (in a non creepy way), sort of intimate no matter how u look at it
Keep going and pursue your passion :)

I've found the same thing. I started straying away from larger channels because I felt it lost the closeness (but not in a creepy way like you said). Plus I like to support small ASMR channels.
