Firstly, I would really thank you Nitzan sir for giving such a patient explanation of my obviously bad game starting at 18:20 😂
Secondly, all three games were so beautifully explained! ❤‍🔥
I really recommend chess beginners to carefully watch and take notes in this video so they can learn proper analysis! I learnt a lot myself which I would love to share and discuss in comments!
Some spoilers ahead for what I really liked and learned next, so do watch the video before continuing in my long commentary journey! 😂
Not only does the introduction give us the 5 key ideas for analysis, but also:
Game-1: What plans and trades can be beneficial in game-1 and how really taking your time to think in longer games is beneficial. The 1200s really know how to move the pieces much better than us 800s 😂
Game-2: How good strategy is important in my game. I learned in this analysis that:
-If you sacrifice, your strategy must be clearer. I played really slow in the game-2 opening, not attacking, as I missed that I was sufficiently defended on the queenside.
-You should not play so soft and slow when down a pawn, learn to identify threats and attack!
-I was also not effectively using pieces in the middlegame because of missing many attacking chances, tactics that could've been defended, king safety at the right time and missed a checkmate, meaning requiring more training for attacking (mainly)!
But I feel I managed to punish my opponent's mistakes at last (beginner's luck, of course 🤣) and managed to save it, even after all those mistakes :)
Game-3: Learnt that stronger calculations can bring out chances like the beautiful sacrifice! (won't name the piece 😂) and evaluating the strength of pieces before trading MUST be done, along with developing tactical awareness!
Really hope for more analysis videos like these in the future too! Would recommend it to my friends too :)
