    Disabling the factory immobiliser to rely on that little black box is crazy.
    Factory immobilisers are nearly impossible to bypass without the chipped key, but the little black box you now rely on is easy to find at end of ignition loom and bypass.

    You don't need that kit to bypass mobilizer. All you need is a 1 - 1.5m long 22-18 awg insulated wire (so it is not bulky). Short circuit both end wire and wrap it in both barrel and your working key (around the plastic part not on the metal). About 4-5 turns in barrel and key. As simple as that.

    Instead of making holes in the wires, it helps to have alligator clip probes for your multimeter, pretty cheap to buy if you have a multimeter with plug-in type probes.

    is there a different wire for remote lock/unlock? because what i found was the wire to the door lock buttons.

    Friend, I have a big doubt and a question if you can help me. My car has a remote start with an original factory key and I can start it remotely from my house with its key. I am going to use 2 keys with a chip, one for the chip that will always be placed in the ignition antenna (to be able to enable the button that I am going to install) and the other as a spare to be able to start the car remotely. My question is: will the copy of my other key with a chip work to start the car remotely from the house once the button and a permanent chip in the antenna are installed? Greetings

  • @captainfresh08
    @captainfresh08 ปีที่แล้ว

    Would you still need an immobilizer bypass or to wrap the ignition wire, if you're putting the original key in the ignition and then cutting it off, or like my Honda you can unscrew it. Then you would have the steering column unlocked and the original key in the ignition so the factory immobilizer would work fine

    Great video thanks! I had a thought, i was wondering if you could use this and the 'passive keyless' transponder system as one unit? Since I do not enjoy the blue RF fob on this, can you tie this system with that and create one ecosystem? Walk up to the car, it unlocks, then sit inside the car and push start car all using the one 'keyless' fob inside your pocket. Is this possible?

    Couldn't you just jump the 2 wires together behind the ignition to put it in accessory mode, rather than leaving a sawed-off key in it? Otherwise all they're going to need to steal the car is a way to turn it - like a basic screwdriver or pair of needlenose pliers? (Since the wires aren't disconnected or anything like that, it's still live and functional, right?)

      @@je-voughnmcgregor5929 ...But the key is sawed off. The transponder chips are in the plastic head of the key, which is cut off, so I assume it's been accounted for/rendered unnecessary?

      If you can’t find the oil path wire, then you can just connect it to the 12v constant wire

    So we do need to use the bypass module in order to be able to install this on an immobilizer car? I've got a V6 Audi A4 B5 which already has immbolizer system. What's the better way to install it on european cars? Any suggestions? Thank you.
