Cinder is highly underrated.
CC3 theme might not be for everyone since previously theme set a high bar and direction, but I appreciate your breakdown and opinion from different perspective. The more I listen the more I enjoy its charm.
i would probably enjoy it more if it's not CC
Cinders is one of my favorites, top 5 even. You'll see that there's nothing like it in the CC lineup, and while that do hamper it to most who rather have the bombastic songs like #1, #2, and the others you'll hear, this really hits home. This song is what I consider peak CC vibes.
tbf the original song that was taken down due to plagiarism was in line with other CC's.

@@shiawase8694 Rejection - Calling , and Taishi - Strayer . Both songs were completely copied, shifted in speed and slightly remastered. If you listen to the deleted plagiarized songs side by side to their original counterpart you will hear it very clearly.
Despite the encouraging lyrics, the sounds are quieter, calmer, and quite somber considering this operation's context that we're fighting against the war-torn Sarkaz (devil people). Usually you'd have a powerful marching song to boost the morale of soldiers, which makes this song all the more interesting. On a side note, the psychology of music and its composition seems interesting!
Except lorewise this season is about a Catastrophe Messenger who died or something. It's not really related to the sarkaz in general.
This was my first CC and this song will always hold a special place in my heart.

My favorite cc theme and the most under rated cc song in my opinion
It’s important to realize that in the lore of Arknights, “Contingency Contract” is basically a glorified contract-for-hire mission that Rhodes Island accepts from other nations and governments to step in and help when there are overwhelming situations occurring there.
The CC system exists to essentially be a very expensive last resort program to supply the nation that pays for it instant and no-questions-asked operators to help eliminate threats.
This song kinda reminds you of that. The lyrics talk about how this is a battle not for glory, but where the best reward is simply being able to survive.
It was meant for Catastrophe Messengers (AK's version of meteorologists and people that calculates catastrophic events in Terra) originally, so it was absolutely last resort armed intervention/operation en masse.
Amongst all the bangers, you NEED a good palate cleanser like this song. I actually think it’s VERY underrated.
When you mentioned Imogen Heap, my mind went to remember Otep for some reason. Then I went back to listening to their stuff again.
CC3 theme has a rather...troubling history.
Originally, the theme has a lot "more" to it, much like other CCs. It has some sort of "energetically sad" vibe to it, which is PERFECT.
However, shortly after its release, the song is accused of plagiarism. The whole drama is a conspiracy caused by the composer, and in the second week of the event all of CC#3 were removed, replaced by Darknight Memoir theme instead.
When this event arrived at global, it comes with a new song, but only for the lobby. The "energetic" part is gone, but the "sadness" remains, true to its purpose.
Reminds me a lot of Halo 4's "Legacy". Absolutely beautiful song I'd recommend it and a lot of Halo 4's soundtrack it absolutely never got the love it deserved
I completely forgot about this one. If I heard it without context, I'd think it was from Ghost in The Shell or some other 90s or early 2k anime.

this song is really nice but so different from the hype behind just about every other CC theme. We go back to bangers from here all the way to 10 tho so strap in

I was getting my ass roasted to Cinders as this was the song for my first ever CC experience so I could not really take it in and enjoy it back then, but I certainly do now. It feels like a drug in a way idk lol but I like it.
Yeah I liked this song when it came out. I think it is forgotten because it doesn't follow the other songs where they were more hype focused. This was more like somber but hopeful, is the right words?
Cynder its a kind of thing, to summarize if im not mistake, this song its the new when the CC3 came to arknights global(the original server is cn) because the og one was a plaggie(i think is like that) the guy who "did" the og song did copy another game song(dont know who was) and remixed a bit and cuz fair use and stuff hypergriff got sued bout this,they did apologize later for the whole thing that happens and then we now have this song for cynder and they are taking more care from who they ask to makes songs to not happens to what happens to cynder but i thank i like cynder a lot even tho its not my fav but its great

This song is very calm and kinda special because of that, but it's not really my thing, but this CC was also a bit disappointing and not just cause the song was so different from what I was expecting, but also the bgm for the permament stage had been removed and it was very epic, it had 2 versions for lower and higher difficulty.
When it first ran on CN servers it was quickly discovered that the person who made the music plagiarized it from somewhere else, so after a week of the event being out they removed the songs from the game and replaced it with music from another event that fit the theme, and when CC#3 came out on global servers (EN, JP, KR, TW) it was just the changed music. They are still available on youtube though uploaded by someone else if you just search "CC#3 map bgm".
I don't know if you're planning on reacting to just the lobby music now and then after sometimes listening to the map bgms or maybe reacting to it along the lobby music, but that's gonna take almost twice as long since every CC from now had at least 1 special bgm, #3, #4 and #6 had 2 bgms, where #6 used music from another gamemode that ran before it.

Yeah it's probably the least liked CC theme but i still enjoyed it nonetheless...
Im not sure whether this is my least favorite, but cc songs are supposed to be giving you hype and energy before suffering in the stages(literally every cc songs except this one is energetic), which this soundtrack doesn't give.
My least favourite one is the Angry Birds one.
@@kobeyashi6981 Who said they were supposed to do that? This track just does a different thing - instead of giving hype and energy going into the CC, it soothes and calms you going out of CC, which is definitely needed after all the frustration you'll inevitably face. I find that switch up beautiful.
