Cindy You look amazing & I can really see the difference! Your surgeon did a great job & I ao appreciate you sharing your journey with us all! Happy Valentines Cindy & enjoy your dinner date! with your friend!
Condolences on Shelby, Cindy. I had to make that decision a couple of years ago, with my 18+ year old chihuahua, Isabella. Her name was bigger than her. Everything about her was in “working” order, with minor exceptions of being deaf, cataracts and a little stiff from arthritis. The deciding factor for me was when she began failing in her hind quarters, not being able to recover and stand back up. The whining and whimpering, like she was in a lot of pain, stressing and looking so confused, like “What’s happing to me mom?”, made me feel like, perhaps, I had been selfish and waited too long in making the decision. Oh God, that hurt. As my husband drove us to the vet’s office, I held Isabella, swaddled like the baby she was, in my lap, looking up at me, with those big eyes, ears held back and looking more at peace than she had in a long time, as if to say, “Thank you mom, I really love you, but I am really tired as well now ready to go to doggy heaven; thank you for recognizing that”. It was at that very moment, that I too, was at peace. Devastating as that was, it was as if I had gotten her blessing. My son’ cat, Teddy, died of kitty aides and made the decision to have Teddy cremated. He said he found much comfort, knowing Teddy was always close by and asked me to think about it. I went with his idea and had Isabella cremated. It has given me a lot of comfort. At first I place her little wooden box with her brass name plate, in prominent view on top of the living room mantle, passing by her several times a day. Gradually, I moved her to an even more prominent place, among cherished family photos. Located in the living room, I pass by those cherished photos daily. The difference? Those photos represent positive memories, both past and present. With Isabella place among them, I find myself focusing more on her memory and less on her loss. In a very real sense, she is still with me, however, I still miss the physical connection with her. I know, in time, her absence will get better; I loved so much. But for now, my glass is half empty. I can’t see me having another chi any time soon. I’ll know when the time is right. The sticky part is, to be willing to acknowledge and accept the chance of losing my “baby dog”, again; I hope that day comes soon. “Grief is the price we pay for love”, Queen Elizabeth II on the loss of Prince Phillip.
Thank you for allowing me to express my sense of loss and how I am dealing with it. Perhaps, it may help you or other who have gone/going through something similar.
Cindy, I’m watching the Murdaugh trial, too. I also liked the housekeeper’s testimony. She obviously cared for Maggie and the boys. I also grew up Catholic and carry the guilt to this day. Maybe it keeps us honest and on the right path. You’re looking good! Mandy from Tucson🌵
Don’t feel guilty Cindy. As lifelong Protestant who converted to Catholicism at 69 years old, I feel that I have finally come home in my spiritual journey. The original Church of Jesus Christ founded at the time of Christ. We would welcome you back Cindy.!!
Hubby and I just started watching The Chosen, because people are just started to talk about it. I remembered you discussing it here. We totally AGREE with your sentiment about it and we don’t even go to church. I think there is a new season that has just started. We can’t wait!
Hawaii has eight islands and Kauai will always be my favorite island. Kauai is known as the garden isle I love their lush green Forrest and Beautiful Waterfalls. I have family that lives on Kauai but most of them passed away. I will hold on to the wonderful memories of our family gathering eating good food while listening and watching my relatives strumming their ukuleles and singing our beautiful Hawaiian melodies. Hope you and your family have a wonderful and safe trip. Happy Valentine to you and Mr Wonderful.❤️🌺
It was so nice to get an update from you. I had a lovely visit with old friends in the Seattle area the past few days, but now am back in the desert. Enjoy your trip, Hawaii is also one of my special places. 🌴
Cindy, so glad to hear that you’re a Chosen fan!! I’ve binge watched the series multiple times since the release of the first season!! Jonathan Roumie who portrays Jesus is a terrific actor!! Like you, I watch it each time& always find nuggets that I’ve missed!! It has deepened my faith!! I’m so grateful for that& the love of our Lord Jesus & the Heavenly Father!! I pray for you and your family!! May God’s blessings continue to flow to you!!😍😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi Cindy. Just want to thank you for your suggestion regarding The Chosen. I just finished the second season and can’t wait to get started on the third. I too love the way they have portrayed Jesus. I have laughed and cried watching it and it has profoundly made me closer to our Lord. I am so glad that they have a “Pay it Forward” option on their website too. Thanks again and your facelift progress is amazing.
Hi Pam, I wrote to the director and told him to watch my video and read the comments since so many of us love it!! I asked him to leave a comment….. hehehe
Hi Cindy, I am watching the Murdaugh trial every day. It is so unbelievable! I watch trials frequently, but this is definitely one on the most interesting trials I have seen. I am also watching the Chosen. You are looking great! ❤
My husband and I went to the movie #3 Chosen after our Bible teacher said the school teacher recommended it well. It was moving so fast from Jerusalem to Bethlehem and here in there that I just said oh I’ve got to go back and watch one and two and then three again in chronological order because I know the Bible but I want to really digest it so you and I are on the same track -the live murder trial and chosen that’s why I love your channel. We have a lot in common. And I absolutely am so glad I had my upper brow lift. I had 25+ staples where they pulled my whole forehead up and I looked like Frankenstein last Halloween. I really had my mask on ha ha , and they also cut fat out of my eyelids and I had an eyelid lift. I’m so glad I had it done. It took out wrinkles between my eyebrows and my forehead. Amazing and I am 69.
The chosen has been life changing for my husband and I. We’re Christian and even still this show really helped us see Jesus I’m a new light. I recommend it to everyone!
You look stunning!! Your doctor did a wonderful job. I can’t wait to see your videos from Hawaii ❤️. I loved watching the Chosen! Amazing & your story about guilt ! Yes, I can relate😩 Happy Valentines Day! Hugs to Poppy. Jana - Texas

Hi Cindy!!! I lived at Manchester & Sepulveda in Westchester. Loved that you mentioned that, made me smile. Shopped at Local Broadway. Wanted to say Hello Neighbor!!!
I lived on LaCienega and Arbor Vitae (Sp?). Attended St. John Chrysostom on Florence. The Race track was there on Prairie…. Where I lived is torn down now
@@PalmSpringsCindy I lived down the street from the Westchester driving range and swimming pool. Also the Catholic Church was down the street. Loved my time there. Also the Original Marie Callendars on La Tijera.
I love the Chosen too! I can’t imagine having Catholic Guilt on top of all the other guilt I carry. Anyways, you look Amazing!! Enjoy your trip and Happy Valentines!
Cindy, I am so happy for you! You look so beautiful and so rested! And now a vacation to Kaui with a Mr. Wonderful! God BlessYou! Thank you so much for sharing your happiness with us! Love your smile and your beautiful uplifting personality!
We love Kauai. That’s my favorite island and we have actually stayed at a resort condo in Princeville the first time we went. Last time we stayed in Poipu, which I like better than Princeville. Princeville does rain more than Poipu.
Hey Cindy! I love it when you pop a video up-all of a sudden. You look so good. You actually still look like your beautiful self. Sending lots of love to you.
Cindy I haven’t seen Chosen is it Netflix. I am also watching the murdaugh trial. I live in Phoenix now but I am from near Walttaboro SC. I was still there when the boat accident happened.when people work for you in a the South they love u very much. I miss the South.
Hello Cindy, exciting to go to Hawaii, but can you fly so soon after surgery? Maybe you should ask your doctor, as our feet swell when we fly, so maybe it could affect the swelling in your face. I love seeing your puppy dog!! 🐶🥰
Was brought up Catholic I’m now lapsed No regrets My belief is now in a loving Presence who is not exacting revenge on anyone Be kind Be loving Be compassionate That is true Faith
What potions and such do you use for your neck. I am 58, everyone says they think I'm 40 (good gene's and never in the sun) but I notice I have some deeper wrinkles right in the middle because of using my cellphone and tablet. I use a Hyaluronic acid and Stri-Vectin Neck creme and use sunscreens or slather other lotions during the day and the others at night. Any advice for the neck area. I cannot afford any cosmetic surgery currently and my neck is the only problem area I have. Thank you and stay 🙏 ☺ happy
Oh my gosh Cindy, I am so glad you’re following the live murder Murdaugh trial. I am obsessed with it. I can’t wait to get off the wall at work at night to watch to lawyers that I like and they break everything down ones in Miami Florida. One is a Harvard graduate lady the first one in Miami is a guy but oh my gosh please keep talking about it. I’d love to talk with you about it so keep on keep on girl. And by the way, you are absolutely look gorgeous. I am so glad you had that done because I know you wanted to do it and I’m glad you were healthy enough to do it and you got it done and you look fantastic. Fabulous Happy Valentine’s Day girl. ❤❤️🩹💘
Cindy, darling, you are looking fabulous! I particularly like the neck and under the chin lift -- that is very tempting to think about in the future. I love hearing about your childhood memories. Those are so powerful, remembering when we were so little and the world so big. Have a fabulous trip and can't wait for the videos from Hawaii.
And look how beautiful and youthful you look !. I've always been curious about these procedures, so your openness is so helpful. And thanks too for sharing tv shows to watch. What a dear you are
Your eyebrows look great. Have you used a new product? They look Carmel color and glisten. I use Anastasia tinted brow gel after pencil. They look like mine.
You look great, particularly think your eyes look beautiful ( I know you didn't have a bleph, but temporal lift, if I remember correctly). You are healing so well.
Hi Cindy! You're healing so beautifully! I'm so glad to see you and your adorable puppy! As a Catholic all I want to say is you are very loved and God has blessed you abundantly and I hope maybe one day you can come back to the Mass and Holy Sacraments if you want ✨️ 🙏 ❤️ The Catholic Church has changed very much since those times and it is truly a place of peace and love ❤️
The St Regis is no longer what it was.😟 A new company bought it and it is not the same. I am so sad. I loved the old St. Regis which was absolutely beautiful. I hate when they change something that is not necessary. There goes all my beautiful memories of me going there with my husband.☹️
Hawaii is my favorite place! You'll have a wonderful time relaxing in the sunshine. That Murdaugh trial is something, isn't it? If it were a movie, you'd say, "That could never happen". But it happened!😮
Hi Cindy! You look so great! You are a good healer & have come through wonderfully. I started watching The Chosen but am already watching Call the Midwife, so just watched the first episode. I'll go back to it after I finish the midwife, which is SO good. I know you're excited about Kaui! How fun! Congratulations on your new Valentine. Enjoy your dinner. Happy Valentine's Day! 🌹❤️🩹🌹
I'd rather base scriptural truth off God Word than a movie..Holy Spirit brings you into His Truth, not a movie...Good as a man playing a part he is not Jesus and in these days there are all kind of ways to distract you from His Truth ..Only depend on God revealed truth to you through His Word..He left His Word to guide you through the Holy Spirit..This is only way.
Cindy you look 20 yrs younger 🤩. Your hair looks fabulous today 👍🏻. I am 67 & seriously thinking about getting a facelift 🤞🏻- we’ll see ! I also have been watching the Murdaugh trial on “ Law & Crime “ on TH-cam. WOW 😮. ❤️Happy ❤️ Valentines Day ❤️
We haven't watched The Chosen yet but I am really looking forward to it now that you have given a little taste of how it is! I am not Catholic so not fully understanding about the guilt. I am Baptist and so happy to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior!! So happy for you having Mr. W and have a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner!!
Cindy, I’m so happy for you and Mr Wonderful. You deserve much happiness. Are your family members going to watch Poppy girl when you’re in Hawaii. Poppy is an angel💕
Have a wonderful Valentines Dinner and you look absolutely beautiful. I am so happy that you are healing so well. Enjoy Hawaii, so beautiful over there. Yes, I remember purgatory.......not personally but the nuns and priests always spoke of it. I went to 12 years of parochial school and I understand what you are saying totally. As I get older and older I think back about so much of it and we were brought up so strict at home, and dared not do a thing wrong that I never feared purgatory to much. I know dad ruled with a soft heart but stern emotions about how we should act and have manners. I figured it would be easier to get into heaven if we followed dads instruction. LOL He later became a Deacon the the mid 70's when priests were not always available and so I totally get what you mean. No one should grow up in fear or be afraid. What Father would not love his children, and treat them well.....and God being our Father I am sure for us who live as good people He would be glorified to care for we, His earthly children. He created the world for us to embrace and live beautiful lives and enjoy all that is here. I hope we all do and are ever thankful. God bless and have a wonderful time and again Happy Valentines Day!!!
Hi MLM, The older I get, the more I feel earth as my temporary home. Almost like my spirit is being drawn away from this planet and towards my Heavenly home. Then other times I become afraid that I am not good enough to enter Heaven. Then, I realize that no one is good enough and that it is by grace we are saved not by works so no one can boast. When I got my masters degree in administration, something I learned was that many companies like to hire Catholics because they have been taught to be obedient....it's been ingrained in them. I thought that was sad.
@@PalmSpringsCindy I can understand that, totally! I remember as growing up each of our bedrooms had a plaque of the ten commandments in it. I always used that as a good guide to behavior and life. And still do to this day. I've got much more into giving myself grace than being so hard on myself. And yes, I never applied for a job that I didn't get. Putting all that together with a military husband who was a crew member for 23 years and served in Nam, I was obedient to not only my upbringing and my country in being married to a military man, you follow the rules as directed. ;-) In all, I wouldn't change much other than to spoil myself a bit or a lot from time to time. Life is good and our little gang of three children is now a group of 20 with grand and great grandchildren......56 years married and highschool sweethearts! Wow, I am getting older I guess.....but still lots of life left to enjoy. Life is indeed a mystery unfolding continually! ;-) God bless!
Cindy you look so good. I am amazed how your healing is going so fast! The biggest improvement is definitely your neck. I know that has bothered u for so long. And I’m so glad you still look like Cindy! But a younger version. Your Dr did so great! Have fun in Hawaii and Happy Valentine’s Day!!!! Glad you have another fellow. Enjoy ur trip! Martha from Fort Worth ❤🥰💕
Hey Cindy. You're looking great!I'm also intrigued, and want justice for the Murdaugh son and mother. It seems that greed was at the core, but so cold and brutal!Look forward to the pics from Kauai!
Yes,catholic guilty is so REAL .my husband not raised a catholic can't relate to the guilt I feel when we miss church or sin against my beliefs 🥲 guilt is so great
I am happy you get to go on a vacation to a place that reminds you of your parents and good times. Keep that lovely new face out of the sunshine. I wasn't raised Catholic but I think all of the religious groups pushed fear on us when we were children. Instead they should have been stressing how much he Loved us. I remember as early as 3 years old being so afraid of God and it was like he made all the bad things happen that scared me, like lightening and thunder and of course I saw death at an early age. My sister and brother passed away, 2 grandparents and an Uncle all when I was 7. It wasn't until I became a parent that I realized how much I loved my two children and realized Jesus loves us each so much more than that.
It was at that very moment, that I too, was at peace. Devastating as that was, it was as if I had gotten her blessing.
It looks great. You look beautiful. 😊
I don't think you look puffy at all! Just looking lovely 🌹
I agree. The women are awesome in the trial !!!!!!!!
Merci, the women who have served as witnesses are honest, sincere, authentic, and I want to be friends with them
I loved the midwife. The characters are beyond good
I'd rather base scriptural truth off God Word than a movie..Holy Spirit brings you into His Truth, not a movie...Good as a man playing a part he is not Jesus and in these days there are all kind of ways to distract you from His Truth ..Only depend on God revealed truth to you through His Word..He left His Word to guide you through the Holy Spirit..This is only way.
If you watched it, you would love it
@@PalmSpringsCindy Something was not scriptural in parts of this movie someone I know pointed out.
I'm wondering, Cindy, if Mr. W knows about your surgery and if so, was it a difficult conversation?
He actually too care of me a few days after my family left!
You are looking more fabulous every time I see you. So glad he didn’t mess up your dimples. Happy Valentine’s 🎈❤️🥂🌹
Looking happy and refreshed

Dear Cindy 🌟⭐✨💫 you look absolutely fantastic!!! 🌹 Wishing you a happy joyful time in Hawaii! 🏝️🌅🏖️🌄 You are my inspiration and I thank you for that 💖
We haven't watched The Chosen yet but I am really looking forward to it now that you have given a little taste of how it is! I am not Catholic so not fully understanding about the guilt. I am Baptist and so happy to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior!! So happy for you having Mr. W and have a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner!!
Tanya, when you watch the Chosen, you will love the bromance between Jesus and John the Baptist. Ya gotta love John and his lifestyle while watching.
Hi Cindy, I would like to know how your meeting your Mr. wonderful’s
Cindy you look great!
Wow😳 you look different, you still look puffy though. Did he say how long will the puff-ness linger?🤔
Im not sure.... I should be drinking more water but I am walking and moving around
Hey Cindy. You're looking great!I'm also intrigued, and want justice for the Murdaugh son and mother. It seems that greed was at the core, but so cold and brutal!Look forward to the pics from Kauai!
Yes,catholic guilty is so REAL .my husband not raised a catholic can't relate to the guilt I feel when we miss church or sin against my beliefs 🥲 guilt is so great
Where is this place you are visiting for 2 weeks. Is it outside of Charleston SC
Im going to Kaui one of the Hawaiin Islands
Accept your age and stop trying to go back in time...
It’s a personal decision
Wow Cindy- you really look fantastic... Have so much fun in Kauai- Can't wait to see your videos... 🥰
