I’m not a cattleman by any means, but I have 2 bred heifers. One a full British White and the other a black angus British White cross, the skunk color. Here in hot, dry Utah I’m surprised how of the cross goes into the shade while the full-blood is still out in the sun. Exactly as you state in the video.
Very nice cattle and are beautiful. There are depictions of these cattle on medieval tapestries and in stained-glass windows. Although, the cattle in medieval times had rather large horns During those days wolves still existed on the island of Great Britain and the peasants grazed their cattle on common land. By the 18th century wolves were extinct in Great Britain and the Enclosure Acts had forced many peasants off the land this is when these and other breeds were kept on vast estates
