- The derby was happening and was advertised all over Japan. In the train stations, there were a bunch of robotic horses that were scaring all the older people. Younger folks seemed to get it. Looked, sounded and felt like a real horse. Warm breath and twitching skin included. I wanted to bring one home but it wouldn't fit in my suitcase.

Well Japan is one of the pros who knows how to deal with electional like for robots for example that we see here.
The ear movements need a little work as they should swivel not twitch and horses like to swish their tails. But other than that, amazing.
I'm just absolutely amazed! We've come from boxy human looking robots running tethered to a cable to a free standing robot horse. No cables, it reacts like a horse would in head and mouth movements. Doesn't have to do anything more. In a few years I bet we'll see a robot horse in a horse show jumping and doing the course with a rider and you'd never know the difference. I'll probably never live to see it but wouldn't be surprised if it happened. Who knows! The rider could be a lifelike android.

And most horses have lost their natural habitat or some have lost have already lost some natural instinct and would die quickly :/
But with horses robot, no more overbreeded or harmed horses (I hope)

Does it walk? What makes it move batteries or is it on a cord? I have never seen a robot horse or felt it but I bet a person who is experienced with horses would know right away. City folks more easily fooled.
It's stupid. The proportions are off and it doesn't walk.

They should program it better to simulate natural behaviour of a real horse, including occasionally a kick to the idiots at the back.
