❤ Big love guys!!
We love it ! 🙌🏽
It matters not where a brother grows up, what you feel and connect with in your heart is what is real. Big love all round
This is like a 4th dimension - I'm reacting to the lad in the yellow hat reacting to Mr Biscuit, whilst enjoying my own reaction and enjoying the warmth and comfort of this song.
Best reactions 😏🤣
Aint enough love in this world that's this big.
Dude wearing crocs, a kilt & knee socks & still shredded any expectations!
Oh 👏 yes indeed great all four of the band 😊that have unfortunately split now❤
No one deserves this recognition more than Ren! He's worked so hard, with roller coaster health issues, but still producing fine work🤩🥰 I am a big fan and so proud of Ren🥰
❤️🇬🇧
Yes !!!
and the rest of the amazing big push members, what great performances they have shared
Rest of the band who have a huge impact Come on they don’t get the respect they deserve people don’t understand that it’s not just ren it’s a band so sad to see comon listeners and not musicians not understanding that they better eachother in a band and there all good in there own ways without each and every one of them there would not be this masterpiece
@jameshurstbmxing8566 we all love the Big Push and in the last 9 months since I wrote my comment, I have utmost praise for their individual and collective talents!
Here for Pegasus’s wink to camera and Biscuit’s side eye… again. It don’t get old.
😂🤣😂🤣😂
I honestly think mr biscuit has the best reaction I’ve ever seen to any artist. Glad ren is blowing up outside the mainstream industry. It’s pure. Thanks for sharing
I love the side eye when he comes in with that first verse
10 years ago he signed with Sony but then got sick and for the next 10 years he battled being misdiagnosed and was bedridden for many years. He finally was correctly diagnosed with Lyme Disease and is on the road to recovery. He curently is in Canada reciving treatment.
Coming back to this one again This is my favourite reaction to any Ren song and I've watched hundreds now
I am in your team... 168194th time watching this reaction. I love it!!!
This reaction is so good I watched it twice. Mr Biscuit your reaction was hilarious. I think Ren's family's musical background (his mum is/was a singing teacher) gave him a great start but a lot of the technique and growing has come from enforced isolation due to the dreadful effects of untreated Lyme disease for 7/8 years. Everyone else was out getting a life and he had his music. I think misdiagnosis is a trauma and a very common one for people with autoimmune diseases, my diagnoses took 9 and 15 years respectively, meanwhile I was misdiagnosed like ren with chronic fatigue and told it was psychological. It's like medical gaslighting and makes people feel invisible. He's definitely a musical chameleon. I can't remember what you guys have already watched but the two live originals with Chinchilla are gobsmacking and painfully beautiful. They are 'How to be me' and 'chalk outlines'.
Absolutely! My mom went through the same - over 10 years of being diagnosed with and treated for things she didn't have or being told that what she really needed was a psychiatrist. It was horrible to watch her go through that.
@@inuchan74 that is awful. I'm really glad she has you, love can make so much difference when going through that stuff (or any stuff - love rocks).
it's refreshing to see creative people appreciate and respect and be inspired by their fellow artists in such a wholesome and giddy way.
Imagine watching Hi Ren and then this video.....that's what happened to me. wow this man is amazing. Thank you for this. You guys are great working together.
Another one of my favourite reactions to Ren from Mr Biscuit, two very articulate intelligent dudes recognising Rens diverse Talents, thank you for this reaction
Absolutely love when you take people down the rabbit hole of Ren ... I just can't get enough. I think i've watched you and Mr Biscuit and Andiroo :0) Also started enjoying your material as well!!!
We have a massive West Indian community in the UK which has clearly reflected on parts of his music.
how
You're going to see way more than three Ren's as you fall down the rabbit hole.
You guys need to look up "The Big Push" Bongo Bong. Yes, it's a cover, but it's AWESOME. I warn you now, it will easily become an ear worm.
Or "English man in New York" or "What Kind of Woman is This" All fantastic covers.
Bongo Bong is my absolute fave cover from these guys.. pure eargasm 🎶🎶❤
There is 13 years of Rens music on TH-cam. He’s spent much of that time ill. He produces his own stuff. Plays at least 6 instruments. Does one take video’s. Can Rap triple time and you can still understand what he’s saying. And to top it off, he’s nice too. Welcome to the 🐇🕳️🖤
well said!
Sadly i had to find out (on my own) that, atleast the Video of Hi Ren isn't a one Take (watch the Mic). The Sound most likely is a one Take. Doesn't take away of him being a Genius though
@@Tearnofear it took 3 or 4 takes (can’t remember) there were 3 static cameras and one hand held for the part where Ren stands. The footage was cut together but the sound is from one take and all performed live. There is a twitch video of Ren and Samuel Perry-Falvey discussing all the videos they did together. Some of the others were completely one take start to finish. Hope that helps.
@@Keeley-Rabbit-Hole i mean, i know most of it. Obviously beside the Part with the Livestream. Its just, some Reactor mentioned being curious about it and some Comments said "no its all one take" but its not, atleast what you see. They did a very, very good editing wich makes you think there is no cut. Also because he did a rly good Job in doing the exact same over and over again. Even his Guitarplay fits on point :)
@@Tearnofear I don’t know for sure but the microphone positioning, looks to me like they used just two different takes for the video. It probably tells you on the twitch video, but it’s about two hours long. In order though so it would be one of the last.
Bloody genius he is. And he was extremely ill for 10 years. I'm guess that’s when he really honed his talents. Sony signed him and then dropped him when he got sick which is problematic why he is so anti record label now. Try "Chalk Outline", "sick Boi", "how to be me", and "Jenny, Screexh, and Violet's tale (in that order). "What you want" is like old school Beastie Boys. Hell, do it all! ❤
What was he ill from?
@@juliecolemannelson6849 undiagnosed Lyme Disease and medicated for the wrong issues for years. In "sick Boii" he writes "sick boy, sick boy, bitten by a tick boy."
@@dianesorensen2549 that fricken sucks. One of my favorite singers , Kathleen Hannah had the same thing. There were times where she couldn't even speak.
@@juliecolemannelson6849 over a tick. Unbelievable.
First time ive heard What you want, it took me 22seconds and i said to myself this is Beastie Boys by the sound, by the three guys and by all of them wearing a track suit :D
You can’t pigeon hole REN. He can do it all, and he does. Nice review of a majestic street performance. The spirit of the free festival is back at long, long last.
ive seen the big push 1 time busking in brighton uk was bounceing a street back in 2019 ,found out my cousin has seen them 8 to 10 times busking in bighton he worked there for 11years ,used to go past the band playing in 2016 ,2017 2018 ,said he saw them have fans grow and grow over the time ,had a teenage women sing with them as well back then and a sax player once
I live in Brighton and have seen Ren performing live many times. Always brilliant.
Mr Biscuit is a fantastic character. I loved his reaction. Quality stuff BP 🙂
Oh man, I loved the way you stitched Mr Biscuit up on this. The whole hour of the original was a great ride.
I love Ren and after doing the deep dive of all his solo stuff, i have now started watching The Big Push. Just so off the charts its amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ADORE Ren!!! And dude, as a Steeler gal, your aesthetic is phenom!
I love what you said about why do you need to be yourself when you can bring ppl on a journey ? Ren has on many occasions shown himself. Part of who he is is a fearless adventurer, and he brings us with him . He is definitely in his heart a true performer. I can't imagine his creative process, but I know he loves performing. Thanks for a insightful review guys .
The journey people want to go on is real and that is exactly why you need to be yourself. Ren is an incredibly gifted human being. And as Real as can be!
Even when he's "acting"/performing he is still his authentic self. That's a talent in itself.
Ren had a record deal with Sony......within months of signing he got Limes decease which made him bed ridden for around 2 years.....this kids talent knows no bounds.....I'm so proud he British 🇬🇧
An awesome classic moment when your expression chnaged just before Ren's vocals kicked in. Priceless. And then Mr Biscuit gave you the payoff. Deserve an Oscar for timing.
The way you two talk about artists and art so in depth when you pause the video is really great. Not seen many reaction channels dig as deep as you do. Some pretty philosophical moments in there, really makes this channel unique
@Black Pegasus I loved Mr Biscuit's reaction absolutely priceless, he was like wait wait wait WHAAAAAAAAAAAAATT!! stop it stop it LOL!! its like he channeled Bob Marley's Spirit at the beginning of that song. watching his eyes go as big as silver dollars and his jaw hit the floor was amazing.
Enjoyed watching this reaction and discussion again with Biscuit👍🇬🇧
I’d like to to do Ren - Loosing it !
I saw the whole thing. And now all three single song videos. I expect I’ll be watching them all repeatedly.
Watched the first 30 seconds. Laughed my head off. I knew what was coming as I’ve seen this clip a thousand times before. So good to see someone else react the same... awesome. Massive silly grin from the UK. X
Such a mature and refreshing pair of guys. The level of depth you're both able to reach just due to your presence in the moment is so amazing to see. The exact type of breakdowns I'm sure an artist as real as Ren would love to see too, need more people like all you 3! I really mean it 😁💙
Ren's category: BARDCORE !!! Lol....great reaction gents...I enjoyed that !! Blessings and a profitable day to all who's watching this !!
This is the first video I ever watched of you guys and really vibe with the calm, respectful and intelligent energy you have. I really vibed with the convo you had at 8:30 about so many people saying hip-hop is about "being you" and showing who you "truly are". Biscuit was saying like why can't you just share your imagination with people and take them on this journey that you feel and believe in, like why do you have to be yourself? Pegasus then was talking about how he was always a shy person and that his stage name and that whole persona is the
"better side of him". In reality, that side of yourself that you guys are talking about, the persona, the stage name - that's the real you, because that part of you contains everything you've ever truly believed in and felt pure connection to. This "real you" and "normal you", in my opinion, is not the real you, because that part of yourself conforms to the rules and boundaries set out by society or the environment you find yourself in, which classify what is normal and what isn't. And most will develop a persona that is suitable to that set of rules, through doing this most people have to shut down or contain certain parts of themselves or develop new parts, to be accepted or classified as normal. I just wanted to share my thoughts and hope that you guys kinda get what i'm saying. Just that all those thoughts you have, you think are "weird" or "crazy" or "outright stupid", ask yourself why you have that opinion. Is it because that's how you feel about it or is it because of how others have convinced you to believe in it :)
Even all these months later - this my very favorite reaction to Ren . Thank you BP and Mr Biscuit ❤❤
Ren's presence is astounding. The way he interacts with the band and the audience and leads us into his musical mindscape is something special.
That's in my home City of Brighton. I'm in the crowd somewhere!
Yes he’s absolutely that freaking good as are all of The Big Push members - phenomenal!!
Also, ska is a HUGE part of English culture. As a Cali teen of the mid 80s… see English Beat, the Specials, etc. takes me
Back!❤
This is the best reaction video I've ever seen from someone who doesnt know "Ren" too well, but have seen some of his bits making songs about some really deep struggles in his life more "punk like" this is so inspiring from no tinky "Ren" but the whole band, more importantly this two amazing gents highlighting that what we know of music is forever to be discovered!! Well done guys.... subscribed!!
He can literally do anything, musically, vocally and lyrically. So much more talented than many of the global megastars out there. He could be and should be massive in world music. Just fantastic
I can not say how much I love how much you are taking everyone down the “ren roller coaster “
Because I was bummed after I went down and then watched reaction videos and then I was bummed I could feel that again, but like you every time you take someone through it, it’s fun again
And I love y’all together!
Also 40, so digging the whole vibe!
Watching the joy and excitement wash over your faces for his talent is awesome. Been a fan of his since him and Sam Tomkins were doing soul covers on the streets of Brighton. Yalls commentary and perspective makes me appreciate the art of his music and a new fan to this channel too. Stay blessed. Much respect.
I love Mr. Biscuit! Your videos with him have been the ones I’ve liked the most. His reactions and appreciation for Ren’s talent is awesome.
Ren is the worlds greatest shape shifter.
Just pure talent, and you can tell what kinds of music they are influenced by, blues, jazz, reggae, hip-hop, ska, was that drumnbase ?? and probably way more being from the UK who have huge different influences. I am so lucky to see similar talented musicians in Australia on the streets here. I think this is why they prefer to perform on the streets because they can be exactly who they are and not put into a box by the industry. Shout out to Andre 3000!!!
This makes my heart sing so so much. This guy has been around for nearly a decade, and watching people's first reactions makes me smile, again so, so much.
Anyone who goes down the rabbit hole, you can't come back!
Blessed Be all 💜
.Hey I'm 45, and still amazing !
Went down the Ren rabbit hole and found wonderland at the bottom. Cheers for this lads.
This is, by far, my favorite reaction video. BP, that look on your face before Ren starts to sing...you were an IMP when you were a little boy, I just know it! Excellent, such fun!!
I absolutely love everything ren dose hes so intensely talented and the big push are just amazing ❤
This is way better than television! You need a way bigger audience!!!!! Your voices are gold ! and I'm 61....
I love y'all's openness to run and how you're showing so many different sides of him. Really I appreciate you so much and the interview was really cool and your follow-through it's just stunning thank you thank you thank you. I was a professional musician western medicine Half crippled me and I share a lot of his problems only worse now physically but I was very skilled as a musician before all this so my heart goes out to him and I'm a true renegade thank you so much for getting this kid known because he needs to be hurt especially by people like us
Wade in the water by the big push is so good too
Ty for supporting ren and the big push...loved both of the reactions....you cracked me up! Lol😂
This is probably the first time I've commented on a reaction video. Living in the UK I've seen a lot buskers ie street performers and even one or two of them actually made it in the music industry but this street performers is by far the best I've ever seen. Also this is the best reaction video for me as love Mr biscuit reaction to this 😅 keep up the good work. One love 👊
Really enjoyed this reaction with Mr Biscuit and yourself sir. Watched this a few times now, love it. Thank you.
I love this format and the conversation you guys bring. Love it
I did the reggae thing for 20yrs so just because they are good doesn't impress me alot...seen it everyday...wat i respect wat it takes to play so many different music old skool to the future..... been given a battered guitar and a mama whos a vocalists and its wat i love....we do thins kind of busking on the regular...its a great way to work out new songs....id put him on stage.. one love and respect....
Great reaction! If you want something different again try The Big Push and Bongo Bong (Manu Chau cover)…I love it
The Tale of Jenny and Screech is another side of him, it is three songs that will surprise you.
I still get chills listening to Bobs songs. That man bridged a gap between colour and culture, I mean... Here's me as a white English guy and some of my best memories were sitting around a fire with friends listening to Bob.
This is like the fifth time I watch this, and I f*cking love mr Biscuit and the way his brain works! 🖤 🖤 🖤
Thank you for such an intelligent conversation. Great reaction!
That's a load of fun watching the reaction, nice one guys. Ren's like a bloody magic act. And the Big Push, what a band.
I can't help it. I am back here for the fourth or fifth time. I just love this reaction so much. Thanks again dudes.
I heard some sublime lines in there. Cool guy
checking this out a year later I guess. I've been with you BP from the initial Hi Ren but I guess I missed this big push reaction with you. This is really nice. Thanks for the vibes. All the best and much Love. One Love.
Loved your friend’s reaction. So fun. Thanks 🎉
UR BUGGIN!! Stop THIS right now!!! Ur BUGGIN!!
Best reaction ever..
And my man BP knew it was coming ...
Just
Like that
Just insanely talented from the core.. He is the note on sheet and takes it to places not many can
Im Fan to at 10 second In. And your channels Fan too! Greetings from Finland!
❤️❤️❤️✌️🙏 thank you guys for reacting to Ren
My favourite reaction yet, and I have seen a lot, many in my lounge, in real life.
If you haven’t you should look at ren doing Jenny and Screech on 360 recording live before he blew up. Its lit.
I think the 360 recording is overlooked by everyone! I like to turn the camera towards the crowd and watch how into it they are. My favorite part is watching the little boy, watching and then shouting along with Ren. ❤
Saw these guys busking around Brighton a few times and we knew they were something special, a sunny day in Brighton city centre with the big push and a dancing crowd blocking the street, thats heaven to me
Mr biscuit I feel the same way I only seen one video of Ren and it was so dark I couldn't get into it and then I discovered this video a couple of days ago and I'm watching all reactions😊😊😊 I need to go down that rabbit hole that is Ren for sure😊 happy holidays from Canada
Hi Ren! Phenomenal talent…. It was hilarious watching the reactions of Mr Biscuit…..
Love it, The Big Push, Amazing. Now he's sick it's good to get it back out there 🎸👌
Yeah y’all need to do the one you ALMOST pulled up that night you introduced biscuit to Ren it was the street one with Sam Thompkins Says mans world on it. Also do MONEY GAME 1 & 2, money game 2 is best but u will understand the SHE SELLS SEA SHELLS line in HI REN after u see that.
He's watched this
Think thev all watched thes vid before brother...👌
Another great reaction guys!! Makes you want to be there catching the vibe 🙏🙏🙏
Damn BP. Absolutely love your stuff.
Open minded, knows what you're talking about, great guests.
Keep up the good work :)
You two ARE SUPER HUMBLE AND REAL! TWO EMMYS!
I watched the full reaction when it was dropped and even now, 2 months later, his reaction to Rens reggae vocals still makes me laugh out loud. One of the most genuinely stunned reactions I have seen.
This hits my soul!!!!
YOURE BUGGIN!!! STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!!!
this is by far the best reaction ever
It's what we all felt ❤😂
That’s funny. I was thinking the same thing this morning about music how we grow out of certain music great video guys
Such a great reaction by you guys.
This dude is Whiter than White, yet he sounds like one of the most influential Black Icons - just goes to show, colour means nothing, lets drink that in. Lets live in Peace.
What an awesome reaction. I love it. ❤
I've seen tons of Black Pegasus channel reaction, and: 1- I'm really improving my english listening skills, and 2- This is one of the best reactions of this song that i've ever seen.
I think Ren is one of those people that doesn't even have to try to be cool he just is that way❤
They’re awesome!! I love street bands !
They make their own way!
Loved this video! Great reaction and great watching how excited you were to see him see it. To y'all point we can be more than one thing. Why can't anyone be everything? Love the thoughts ❤
It’s so stupid how Ren can turn a cynical 50 year old man into a 12 year old fangirl. (I’m talking about myself) lol
Just had to revisit this. The devilish giddiness on BPs face❤❤😂😂 He knew he was blowing a mind. ❤
Loved it!
" He's vibin' with the spirit of the situation " is one of the best descriptions I've ever heard. I came here for Ren, I left with 2 new subscriptions. The Big Push wrecked it, and ya'll wrecked this react. Thank you.
god you tow are so funay i love your pod cast lmfao keep it coming your doing a grate job love it keep it come thanks
