Best dog finally getting the attention it deserves, when i think of us best F2P minions he's one of first that pops into my head along with all the bronze casters
And it's seem that Lancer Cu might get a new buff in Lostbelt 7 because Caster Cu voice line that he say he'll leave the rest to his normal self after we clear Lostbelt 6
Serviceable and still useful even if you have sr/ssr lancers already. While I hold preference towards Ereshkigal, Lartoria and Summer Raikou, Cu is still an option.
Despite him being a 3 star, he's literally a buster nuke, i have 4 buster nukes named Artoria Pendragon ( Saber ), Enkidu ( Lancer ), Rama ( Saber ), Ibaraki Douji ( Berserker), and now Cu Chulainn ( Lancer )
That's certainly a very powerful lineup! Artoria (especially with her upcoming buff), Enkidu, and Ibaraki are all hard-hitters for sure! Though will say - Cú is a Quick Servant rather than a Buster one
@@marcusp_192 I'm also planning to level him to lvl 120 as well, though, getting the coins is making it extremely difficult, specially for a f2p like me. But I'll continue grinding. And congrats on the lvl 116.
@@mountainfalcon977 I vaguely remember the actual lines. It was when Mebd was trying to convince Skaadi to continue their tour of Vegas, she said that it was to "Help her appreaciate the Cu's". I don't know if it's refference to how in some interpretation of her myths, Odin and her are married. Possibly hinting the fact that one of the Cu's share a bit of Odin's authority. I'm not really sure if that's the case though.
@@piercingmoon24 that may be one of the point but I think it's mostly because Skaadi didn't know anything about Cu but Shishou who's an owner of the body know almost everything a about Cu because she raise and train Cu by herself so these opposite feeling made her uncomfortable and she want to know Cu better but deep down Shishou herself doesn't want to
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that doesn't care that much about him and, while I definitely can't argue against his usefulness, mine is still chilling at level 1 because I have so many lancers that I want to raise first, such as Gareth and a few gold spooks (Lancers seem to love me for some reason). Still, I can see why the doggo is beloved.
Some *very* interesting picks there. I only really cover NA so probably won't get round to Cú Caster in this series (though I talked about him pre-buff, so will try and get back to him at some point!)
@@SuneDunes well, Ushi is insane after her skill upgrade. She has incredibly high NP damage, good crits, good team support and hard survival, and good NP gain and whatnot. She's overall better than some of the SSR Riders. Mandricardo is a monster NP looper with great damage, even if his survival is a bit lacking. Asclepius is honestly self explanatory I think, partywide 20% charge, 30% NP gain up, NP seal, 5k healing, 50% debuff resistance up, debuff cleanse, debuff immunity, AoE guts and heal per turn. An insane f2p choice for CQs and farming. And David has his incredibly valuable AoE evade and upgraded ST NP
Ive had better luck with Proto's Death mechanic than this one... of all the Gae Bolg's its only killed one outright. Nonetheless, it was a celebration on my end :))
I honestly don't like him that much since I got kagetora before him He's still at np1 but what I like about him is his evade skill that just sticks(sadly non-stackable) His guts is useful early on and he is the best 3 star lancer Other than that he's not that useful he does like 3000-4000 neutral damage and around 9000 with class advantage (The game really needs to improve neutral damage numbers)
Haha can understand the frustration! With Cú the trick tends to be not to rely on standard damage; essentially why he can thrive in late-stage/solo content is because he has ample survivability, and does his damage through his NP.
@@SuneDunes early on I used to just push through with sqs Not looking at hp gauges Buffs . etc But as soon as I started learning How the game worked the more pissed off I was like what the hell these guys have unlimited stars and the number of crit buffs they put on themselves is terrifying and annoying Cu's defense down is pretty handy just a little hard to do since his np gain is meh
Likewise! The mechanic in general is terrible, but he generally is *slightly* better than most (Cú is not too far off though - Serenity on the other hand...)

I was honestly surprised with the impact Cu had in FSN, he was only at 3 star and not at 4 or even 5
It was a wake up call to me! While I figured he’d be stronger than a perceived 3-star, definitely alerted to me to the fact that rarity ≠ strength

Man! Him & Herc got me through majority of the story content of the game. He'd always be my "go to" for Berserker type enemies.
He is a really versatile Servant; just so good in so many situations!
For a 3 star, he sure has a lot of value and is one of the best servants in the game in my opinion. Can't wait for his buff to come to NA.

Just finished clearing Shinjuku, and he (along with a Bond CE Support Heracles) was the MVP in the last third of that chapter.
He really is very useful, especially in that last stand/soloing role (and ditto for Herc!)!

I only found them a short time ago, and I must say, they’ve really perfected Cú solos into an art 🧐
Ushi or mori is all I need now and life is good.
Both really are great Servants - Ushi in particular is in that rare echelon of Servant that vastly outperforms their rarity
