WOW I have been sitting on a 15 year peyote beaded headdress because it was so time consuming lol this is encouraging me to finish it, thank you 💜
No kidding ! I am making a smudge can for my SIL and was dreading going the length of the f
an !! There is an end in site now !!
This tip is absolutely brilliant. I thought it would be hard if I was following a pattern, but it's not. It's made things so much easier. Thank you
whaaaaaa... Lord have Mercy! Where have you been all my life? Thank you for this!
Thank you for showing a way to take away the boring part of the pattern by cutting those solid rows in half. Thank you again.
I lay out my peyote patterns on a bead board to work them, and I think this method will really speed up progress on my projects, as long as I remember which direction to pick up them 2 rows each time. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I just tried this with a pattern. It wasn't as tricky as I was expecting! I just added the next 2 rows and they added themselves seamlessly. Thank you for the amazing tip! 👌
How did you had the rows? Let's say you are doing rows 5 and 6 of a pattern. Do you start with the first bead of row 5 and then the first from row 6 or do you pick up all of row 5 and then all of row 6?
Awesome quick tip for this stitch. Thanks! I'm sharing it in my group's playlist, too.
very, very interesting trick, with this method saved a lot of time! thanks for sharing!
Awesome. Doing patterns (different colours) with this technique could be tricky but this is worth knowing.
Reviewed this as a quick refresher since it's been forever since I've need to do a fast peyote stitch. Trickiest on multi-colors sections, I find it helps me go to the quickest on borders of a single color and large sections on bracelets where it's all one color.
Amazing!!! I do lots of beading but Peyote this makes it so easy. Thank you. Sending blessings and peace
Thank you so much for showing this!!! I LOVE IT!!
Thank you very much for this tip. Makes my beading significantly faster. A complete boon when doing a long length of peyote stitch
We are very happy to hear this video helped! Thanks for watching!!
I have never been able to do peyote this looks great!
That is awesome looks like you could do a simple bracelet in no time at all 😀 thank you for sharing! Hugs Liz...
Thank you so much for this video!! I was getting Impatient doing my first tubular peyote but this makes it so much easier!
Glad we could help Tamie :)
Cool! I haven't try that yet, but planning on do that. Thanks for sharing :)
This is AMAZING!! I can't wait to try it!!! Thanks for the tip! 💜

Fantastic for those of use who have trouble with this stitch like me ! It's crazy how a able to do harder stitches but still have trouble with this basic stitch . 😩
Me fascina las manualidades felicitaciones
that is the most interesting beading I have seen. I don't know if I can do that, but I am going to try
Yes! Love this tip! 🙌
Thank you so much! That is amazing! I love it. I make bracelets from tiny seed beads and it's so time cosuming. Now with this magical trich I can make more in less time. God bless you for this awesome tip.
I am glad you like it! Happy Beading!
Fantastic tip!👍🏽
thank you! just what i was looking for!
OMGosh... I have absolutely HATED doing peyote beading because it's so time consuming, but THIS! 😧❤❤❤
How is this time consuming?
The first few rows make it tough - but I honestly find that I end up way ahead of myself because of how fluid it becomes to just do one row at a time, even....
🤔🤔
Wow.
This is soooo helpfully
This is awesome!
Love this! Thank u so much!
That is cool thanks for sharing
Thanks for this easy method
Wow!! Thank you for the technique
Thank you for sharing ! Oh merci pour partager avec nous ce super idée !
Why not put the needle in the end and push the beads into place as you push the needle in for "zipping up the rows"?
I timed it doing two rows the normal way vs doing the equivalent of two rows this way and it is 30 seconds faster this way thanks!
OMG this is so fantastic and easy to do!! 👍 thank you so much for sharing it 🙏😁
Thanks, glad we can share it with you!
Fantastic!!! Genius!
love it,but how do you start the peyote the same as traditional?
Love this do you got a video on how to start it to make lanyard?
I love this thank you❤

Brilliant!
Very interesting thank you
Good idea. Thx
thank you thank you thank goodness!
YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING!! JOY!
Pretty nice idea!
Happy beading!
That's clever ❤
Hallo Kat, thanks for the best tip !! 😊😊👍👍👏👏👏🌈🌈🌈 Is it possible to make it with an uneven peyote too? Thanks a lot !!!!
This video changed the game when it comes to my beading hobby. After doing countless patterns… am I wrong to think this is not only faster, but a superior way of beading in every way?
In my experience, this makes it easier to keep the same thread tension throughout the entire work… and the finished works ends up stronger and sturdier than in the tradicional method.
It works perfect with thin threads such as Miyuki… perhaps not as great if you’re working with thicker elastic threads.
The only other possible downside I can think of is that it’s generally harder to correct mistakes… (specially if accidentally pass the needle through the thread)
It’s a 10/10 for me. Thanks for sharing the tip
Thanks for such great feedback! Have a wonderful holiday!
Cool. Thank you.
CLEVER! I like this technique. I'm assuming you start your first 2 rows the traditional way before going to this speed stitching method, right? IE Pick up 11 beads and then stitch in another 11, right? If so, now I know how to figure out how many beads to load to create the finished width I want in inches. Eg. first load 11 beads (assuming that's 1") when I want a 2" wide cuff. Stitching in the next set of 11 beads will give me my 2" wide cuff. Hope that makes sense. It does to me.
TFS this cool time saver.
that is utter genius!
Glad it's helpful!
brilliant ☀
I have only used that method to close off the ends.
Good idea
great, grat trick!
Thanks for this great tip! Can it be modified for odd-count peyote, too?
Eileen White I would like to know this question!
Very good
AWESOME!
Thank you this is awesome
I'm glad you like it
Wow nice
What type of thread did you used, because the one that I uses breaks every time that I work and it suppose to be for seedbeads work... I would like to know a good seedbead string brand to work with. Thank you so much ♡ ♡ ♡
Wildfire or Fireline
روعه عاشت الايادي
Mind blown!
Enjoy your newfound beading power!
How would I do that with each row being different?
Do you start this style of peyote the conventional way or can you show the beginning of it please I this style of peyote which by the way is genius love it thank you so much ❤

Thanks for watching!
Wow...might try but my peyote beading starts looking strange after a while😕👍🌠
Bravo!
I suspect that I'm not the only person wondering if this can be used on odd-count peyote... I haven't tried it, but I think the answer is yes as long as you start when the sticking-out beads are the ones that include the edge beads.
My first thought was about the green color, also.
Very interesting and quick
And it gets even quicker with practice too! Thanks for watching Mary!
Halo, im agustina bantiloc from the philippines, i love watching your videos and i want make those jewelries that you're doing but my problem is there is no store to buy beading needle and beading thread here. How can i avail?
Hi! I can confirm we ship to the Philippines. You can purchase our products here: www.beadaholique.com/beadsmith-english-beading-needles-size-12-4-needles.html . Thanks for watching!
So if I understand you pick up 2 rolls of beads? But how do you start out when you turn wished you had done several rolls
You would pick up one row at a time. The next row would be done the same way the video starts, with the thread coming out at the top and then picking up a row of beads and then weaving the row in. The repeating. Hope that helps. : )
Does this work with odd count peyote?
I like this idea, I have been trying to think about how to do this. m
My way didn't work.
Love the green color! Do you have a link where I can buy the beads?
+Adriana Pratt Isn't that a great green? You can tell we're ready for St. Patrick's Day. You can find those beads here: www.beadaholique.com/p-8944-miyuki-delica-seed-beads-100-silver-lined-green-dbm0148-72-grams.aspx

Amazing, easy but I m trying to follow a pattern and I couldnt... do you have any tips?
Some can be harder than others, don't let yourself get too frustrated. If you're new to peyote weaving and patterns we have a video on the basics of reading patterns: th-cam.com/video/BRQ5POjBeFs/w-d-xo.html
wow! that's it
Where is your other video for the traditional way of doing peyote?
You can find all of our peyote stitch tutorials here: www.beadaholique.com/wsearch/result/?type_id=videotype&q=peyote
wow cool
This takes no less time than doing regular, I once timed myself doing both it was literally only three or so seconds less...
Linda T Agreed. Really no faster than normal peyote for longer rows as you must count precisely.
Plus how much more time would it take to figure how to bead a pattern with this method.
it's faster because you're doing two rows at once
I’ve tried this so many times, but the thread I put my beads on, and once I’ve stitched them I can still see the thread my beads were on
Me too. I’m not sure if it will show up later. What is the answer to that?
THANK YOU! ! ! ! :-)
Glad we could help!
does this only work for even count peyote?
+Jennifer Hostetter Yes, this particular method only works for even count peyote.
