Great video; I enjoyed it very much and it stirred up my appetite. Its always interesting to see how foods are prepared in other cultures. I love taro ( malanga ) but have never had it with coconut milk; will have to try it! The guys' sense of humor was also very refreshing! I have two trouts that I bought yesterday and am going to try to prepare them in a similar way, but in a stove of course, since I live in New Jersey and it is winter outside right now; and besides, there are no palm trees to climb and the pine trees refuse to grow coconuts! I also liked the exotic outfits, especially the seed and bone necklaces and the palm frond decorations! Can anyone tell me what the word toa means?; there are two cities in Puerto Rico: Toa Alta ( Higher Toa ) and Toa Baja ( Lower Toa ), and since I am convinced that the Polynesians arrived at our island long before Christopher Columbus did, probably from Rapa Nui ( Easter Island ), and mixed with the indigenous native Amerindian Taino population, I want to try to figure out the connection! Viva Samoa & Aloha to all my Polynesian kanakas! Blessings to all, from:
