L.A. anchorwoman Jamie Douglas (the stunning Morgan Fairchild in her big screen debut) has it all: a glamorous career on a top-rated news show, a luxurious house in the hills, and a devoted young admirer named Derek (Andrew Stevens). But when Jamie rebuffs his romantic advances, Derek becomes an obsessed stalker who plays out an increasingly psychotic courtship with the frightened newswoman. A true spine tingling classic! I remember this coming on late at night on HBO and Cinemax and sneaking downstairs to watch it when I was like 9! Bought it on DVD a few years ago(Lots of bonus extras)!

I was 12 when I saw this on HBO, Showtime or Prism when they would loop it. As creepy as I thought it was, I remember thinking how beautiful the cinematography at night was in the pool.

My favorite scene from this movie is when MORGAN Fairchild racks a round into the shotgun after blasting at the bad guy.
Kind of the wrong title, though, it should be called (and I thought it was) the obsession already other movies with that name. Who gets seduced here? Not Jamie or Derek.
At the beginning of this movie, even though she was lucky, it was still not a good idea to pick up a phone, .......... while wet.
