Always satisfying when you fix these rattles. And I agree you should not have to do this on a brand new car. The most difficult thing is actually pinpointing where and what is making the damn noise(s). Rattles. It’s what makes a Subaru a Subaru. 😂
@@StreetInspired1 I hear you lol I have one that seems to be coming from the driver's side front door. Still can't find it. But then again it's a 2018 🤷
Mine just developed that rattle. Glad I know how to fix it now. Been also chasing a sunroof clicking sound. Almost sounds like a loose metal bracket but nothing feels loose. Even dropped my headliner to check and everything is tight so I’m wondering now if it’s the rear deck lid
My ‘17 Outback 3.6R has the same rattle. I’m looking at a ‘23 WRX as well, and I’ve been catching your videos on it and I’m dying over here seeing the same issues across platforms. 😂
Holy. Fucking. Shit. This has been driving me crazy since I got the car and every time I take it to the dealership they say there’s no loose clips and the speakers not blown. I can’t wait to try this out myself.
I have heard that noise before but it went away after a few seconds. you can get sticky foam gasket in a roll that will work great for that and any other rattles you may find.
Funny story the image you have for the thumbnail that piece fell out one day and I had no idea where it came from. It's still sitting in my door compartment 😂
My front dash board has a horrible ticking sound that I cant figure out and rear dash has plastic vibration sound as well. Thanks for this video. Gives me courage to seek and destroy
My front dash has a loud tick on every tiny bump but the music drowns it out so I usually forget about it. The rear plastic cover sometimes bothers me too so I might tackle that next!
@@StreetInspired1 the plastic trunk trim under the rear window was my problem. had to shove a rag under the 3rd brake light. probably the same shit on the new wrx
I absolutely agree. There was nothing wrong with the small cover on the VA that covered the screw. Not sure why they always have to mess with a good thing.
Probably at some point. Both my last wrxs the transmission blew so I'm sure I'll be in the same predicament again. My last wrx I ended up doing the STI swap and it was great.

The normal rattles I can deal with but this one was on another level 😂

Thanks for this! This was my only rattle and it made me hate turning up my radio
Dealing with this now, and of course it doesn't rattle while the dealer is looking for the issue. UGH. Will try this fix!

2017 WRX, have the harmon kardon sound system and everything rattles if the bass is too high.
This car seems to rattle even with the bass set in the negative. Just a cheaply built car so it's to be expected haha
@@StreetInspired1Haha fair enough. Cheaply built, but fun to drive 🤣.
Now if you could just show how to remove the rear dash so I could fix that rattle this car would be 100%
😂 u crack me up ! I’m the same way about rattles , i once had a Subaru tech tell me turn up the radio u won’t hear it 😂!
Haha the problem with this rattle was turning up the radio made it worse 😂
Highly recommend getting some Sound Deadening, did this recently on the VB and made a big difference.
Sound deadening? Link ?
Man the dome plastic and driver seatbelt column drives me insane on mine. I’m gonna try some 3M tape

Might have to order some of that and work my way around thr car!

You figure out everything good for you.
My '22 Drivers side rattles - but I think its the Windows button-cluster. Super annoying.

@@aregaminghd I did the same thing on my 2020
If you’re ever in Ottawa I owe you a beer!
Dude thanks. That fixed mine too
I hate the rattle. My car is 3 weeks old and my dashboard, door, etc rattles 😩
That's horrible. Mine is somewhere under the passenger tweeter cover in the corner of the dash.
Me too!! 2 seconds away from ripping the door panel off
Not sure if I have good luck - but my 2022 wrx premium A package has no rattles or any issues you guys have reported
Same thing with my 22 driver side and now my passenger side
Thank you sooo much!!!
Any chance you have the rear deck lid rattle and/or know the fix for it?
My vb 23 is making the sand noise to me it sounds like it’s coming from the dash
you are a genius man! Cheers!
Can only talk to the 2021 which only had a small screw head cover to cover that screw to get the door card off. This was an unnecessary “upgrade” IMO.
I absolutely agree. There was nothing wrong with the small cover on the VA that covered the screw. Not sure why they always have to mess with a good thing.
Are you gonna put sn sti transmission in it?

How much does that swap cost you?
@@kentkercheval6647 it really depends. You can expect somewhere between $5,000-10,000 depending on location, condition, and shipping.
Dealers will fix any rattles you find for free in the first year/12k miles for free as long as you can recreate them.
I can actually hear a loose screw rolling around in my passenger door
I've been lucky... no rattles. Or I've just owned worst cars and this one isn't as bad. (I've owned a lot of Jeeps)
It what makes a Subaru a Subaru lol
I have a 2012 WRX and it has zero rattles 🎉
Just wait til you get an exhaust… it’s gonna get wild with rattles. Good videos tho! Strong views
