Not only is this game very fun to play multiplayer, it is also very fun to watch.
Via Netplay, the game can be played online with a controller on the computer via a special Dolphin Emulator build optimized for Kirby Air Ride Online. It is much like on the GameCube. Matches are played in the Kirby Air Ride Netplay Discord community.
Players had their own fullscreen when they were playing, and weren't able to see their opponents screen.
Matches are played on the Hackpack of UnclePunch, to enhance the competitiveness with extra settings, more Kirby colors and QoL features. For example, rear view is added when pressing the X button. And the Item Frequency has been set to High, suiting the modern competitive Kirby Air Ride ruleset. Also certain Stadiums and Events were disabled, like Vs King Dedede.
Apart from that, things are basically the same as vanilla Kirby Air Ride.
I discovered this channel a couple weeks ago and I just wanna thank you guys for showing KAR the love it deserves. These guys are unreal.
Kinda a casual here but, why is boost good on wagon star? Does it affect its speed despite not boosting?

Wagon just really needs that boost in acceleration much more than other machines, it benefits a lot from it

I was so glad to not see a swerve star anywhere in the match for once. Let the others shine a little xD
Granted, they did disable the swerve star from spawning at all, but still, yeah it's nice to see some variety. Maybe they ought to figure out a way to lower its spawn rate so that it's just extremely rare

@@cameronmills2826nah he's honestly right. Instead of commentating he just puts down whoever he doesn't want to win. Half the time they dont even comment on the gameplay happening and when a huge play happens they just go "OOOOOO". No like "OOOO FURY WITH AN INSANE SNIPE WHAT A SHOT. Fury grabs another power up and looks for a kill but GREG DODGES LAST SECOND AND LANDS A FEW HITS BACK
