What a great design Lloyd. You did a great job of explain everything and it will help immensely cutting those pesky and dangerous to cut small segments. This should be fairly accurate on the Bandsaw as well. Thanks for sharing this.

Derek, I don't often use a bandsaw to cut segments, but I think it would make perfect sense for open segments with this sled. I believe I'll give it a try. Thanks for your suggestion.

Hi Lloyd, I make all of my inlays using the bandsaw. I think it's just a matter of ensuring your bandsaw is set up and fine tuned to create accurate components. This jig design you have come up with is perfect for me to create my Chaos design Butcher Blocks on the table saw. I will build one later today so again, thank you for sharing.

Well done Lloyd. I particularly like the addition of the hold down and thanks again for another great video.

I have been making closed-segmented vessels for several years and want to try Open-segmented turning. Your videos are very helpful and easy to follow, Thanks. My question is can I use my Wedgie Sled to cut the open segments?

hi, why not just cut the stoppers at the same angle so that its flush with each tip ? (24.33 still a gap)

I'm wanting to do 32 and 48 segment open segment work. Do you have a paper template available for your sled to do the 32s and 48s? I have the 18 and 24 segment plates now and was wondering if you are going to offer a 32 segment plate as well?
