唐武德九年，内廷生变，原太子之女李长歌侥幸逃出。逃亡途中，长歌偶遇化名为秦准的草原部落特勤阿诗勒隼，两人不打不相识，渐生英雄相惜之感。长歌在幽州粉碎一场阴谋，与此同时身份败露，前往㮶州避祸。她藏于㮶州刺史公孙恒身边，助其共抗草原势力侵袭，却未想到敌方将领隼竟是旧识秦准。长歌震惊痛心。然而㮶州情况危急，为争取时间等待援兵，李长歌与隼谈判，为大局甘愿沦为战俘被押往草原，意外得知大可汗另有野心。长歌决定暂放私仇，以身涉险拼死破局，隼为救长歌不惜与大可汗为敌，两人却阴差阳错天各一方。长歌辗转流亡，历经风雨的她逐渐领会仁者无敌的道理，最终彻底放下个人恩怨。在发现前隋势力才是挑动事端的幕后黑手后，长歌与隼联手为守护大唐与草原的和平贡献了自己的力量，两人也终于认清了对彼此的情感，携手共赴危局。
►Synopsis ：
In the 9th year of Wude Period of Tang Dynasty, Li Changge, the daughter of the former crown prince, accidentally escaped from the military coup in the palace. During her escape, Changge encountered the secret service agent of a grassland tribe, Ashina Sun, who was under the pseudonym of Qin Zhun. They got to know each other through a fight and their affection grew stronger. Changge smashed a conspiracy in Youzhou. However, at the same time, her identity was revealed, and she went to Shuozhou to escape capture. She hid herself beside Gongsun Heng, the governor of Shuozhou, to help him resist the invasion of the grassland forces, but she did not expect that the enemy general was Qin Zhun. Changge was shocked and distressed to discover Qin’s real identity. However, the situation in Yuzhou is in great danger. In order to gain time for reinforcements, Li Changge negotiated with Sun. For the sake of the overall situation, she was willing to be a prisoner and taken to the grassland. Then she accidentally learned that the Great Khan had an ulterior motive. Changge decided to temporarily put aside her personal vengeance, and risk her life to save the situation. In order to save Changge, Sun disobeyed the order of the Great Khan, but they were far apart from each other after that. After going through the arduous exile, Changge gradually understood the principle of the invincibility of the benevolent, and finally put aside her personal grievances. After discovering that the former forces of Sui Dynasty were the manipulators behind the scenes, Changge and Sun teamed up to protect the peace of Tang Dynasty and the grassland. They finally came to realize their deep affections towards each other and went to confront the crisis ahead.

I feel so bad for Sher. Everyone talks about the loss of Mu Jin and Changge but Sher also loss Mimi as a comforting friend and has no one to lean on at all now. He's estranged by his mother, finds out his own mother killed his dad, lost Sun's presence though they could be friends for real after discovering the truth. He must be so confused, angry and lost.
I also feel sorry for Sher. I wanted him to find love.

Mimi had been thru a lot, I dont think she ever lived her life without a moment of suffering and fear. Meeting Changge and the Ashille Tribe gave her so much hope, new family and the realisation that she could be happy with someone she loved. Mimi and Changge’s relationship is one of a kind, the trust and loyalty and friendship, Mimi’s willingness to sacrifice herself for Changge’s welfare, it’s beautiful in the most painful way. Im glad her brother was rescued and Mujin and Changge and Asun were all safe, her sacrifices were not in vain but tbh she also deserved a happy ending

I liked that all the main characters came together to help, other than the two older guys. Good to see Wei Shuyu being a fighter not just an ambassador for a change. Glad they mentioned cute little Yuan as she had kind of been forgotten, and A'Sun's other best buddy from Eagle division is back on the scene. I'm a bit sad to watch the final episode as then it's over. This has been a fantastic adventure to watch and wonderful escapism from Covid. Brilliant storyline, acting, costumes and scenery.

Yicheng's scenes were all so amazing this episode. Even the last interaction with Leimeng was heartbreaking. The writer, director, and actress really brought out all the angles, complexity, and nuance of her character. As the primary antagonist, they did a great job of making her more than just that.

The actress playing Yicheng is really great! I also love Sher and Mimi Guli. Everyone did a great job.
ACtually Yicheng character the most tragic. IMagine planning and suffering all these years and then your son for whom this was all for, destroys your plans. And puts all your lives in danger.

Li changge wasn't shot in heart. When wei shuyu and sun shot her they purposefully didn't shoot him at fatal point. But uncle lei shot her she survived she was lucky as she met taoist sun who could even save many people from plague in Eagle division. For sun, he was quite lucky too and got treatment quicker. He had wilder childhood experience . He grew up fighting for himself so man is made of steel

Changge's trust to Mimi was really impressive. That's why she was willing to sacrifice herself for Changge. It was heroic yet sad. But at least she died in peace knowing that her brother was finally saved and she died in her lover's arm.
As much as Li Shimin knew her niece's character well, Changge also knew her uncle's character equally well. Their bonding were beyond words, although they were not always on the same side.
Earlier Ashile Sun saved Changge by exchanging hostages with Hao Du. Now the situation reversed. Changge freed Sun by exchanging him with Sher.
20:35: Changge's sadness for losing Mimi was so intense that in that moment she even "forgot" that he just saved her lover Sun.
20:50: unmoving teardrop in Mimi's eyes 😢😢. I'm very impressed with the details in this series.
22:21: Sher had every rights in the world to get angry and asking WHY to Mujin, Changge, and even Sun that they couldn't protect Mimi. He had betrayed his mother and conspired with Changge in order to save Sun and now he saw that the woman whom he loved died.
I feel pity for him. He had nobody. What he said at 27:34 was really ironic for both.
Uncle Lei might be a bad guy but his unwavering loyalty to his princess until 30 years later was really commendable.
Good that Sun could meet the great khan and happy that Situ Lang Lang would teach Yuan.
I was very impressed with the antagonists (Yicheng and Leimeng) this episode. Their parts were acted so well that they don't seem like villains, but fully fledged characters that you can really empathize with. I like that they aren't just "evil" for the sake of it, you can understand the suffering, bonds, and trials they've gone through.
When Mimi died, Mu Jin and Changge cried, that scene made me cry too. Uhu, uhu, uhu. So sad that Mimi was killed.

I said in a comment in previous episode I won't be sad if Mimi dies because of just being a deadweight. In this episode, she redeemed herself and was useful till her bitter end. So yeah, I'm a bit sad but it's her or Changge who dies so I'm ok with how it turned out. She's a plot device for the main characters to have a happy ending and that's what matters.

I feel so happy seeing Chang ge's Avenger's assembling for the end game. That part is so touching. That's true friendship, loyalty and love there. Like Li Shimin and his close advisers always says Chang ge is blessed. Yes, She lost many things and people on this journey but she also gain a lot. Those experience she gain in these days is a heaven's gift for her. She understand what's truly important. That what we truly see on the eyes is not always right. That there's true friendship. People can be cunning pretending to be innocent. Acting on impulse will lead to bad decisions. She learns to forgive. She learns to look at the big picture instead of her personal affairs. And she learns about love and what it's like about being loved.
Mimi is a rear character for me and even the first that shows this kind of loyalty. Her sacrifice will always be remembered it's just sad that one of the most loyal person to Changge and even one of the whole historical themed cdrama gets to be killed
