For most people in Europe, football is more than just a sport. It is a kind of religion, the teams are the denomination and the stadiums are sacred ground 😅
2:30 That chant refer to once when Aris had financial problems and were forcefully regulated. Then several fans left Aris for the same city enemies PAOK so that's what the chant is about.
I didn’t realise until now that the Wydad Casablanca Ultras sing at the end : “you will think it’s AC Milan” gives you something to think. I can respect that even though none of those teams I support my team being Lazio.
That's true - but at the end of the day, there's always one special character in the stands who starts the chants most of the time 😉 Cheers to the Cold Blow Lane End and all the best for the match vs. Sheffield 💪
She said it has a really catchy beat. Means she's probably never heard of the song and likes it. The person was kindly informing her of the song name. What's your problem?
Those fans singing outside? You can HEAR THEM in the Stadium. Like in the halls and everything. You won't be really able to tell on the actual seats, because the ones inside are even louder. I used to live top floor in a city like 4 streets away from a stadium (open, no roof), whenever there was a game, I would open the window and hear the fans.
“Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.” - Bill Shankly
I agree with most. There is one whom didn't sing much last season, certainly not 90 minutes long haha Some didn't even finish the whole game. It's nice to sing songs. In good and bad times.
6:36 This Guy is what you call it Hypeman. In Europe we call this Person "Capo". Capo means Chief. So he have to be up there to lead the crowd in singing.
English chants happen more naturally and are not led by people at the front the European chants are more like a choir than a natural chant that happens spontaneously.

These Football fans make American Super Bowl fans dislike their team, and that they are in an outdoor church.. American football fans appear mean compared to European football fans.
@@_LipeH Thank you for your in depth critique which you’ve obviously given a lot of thought to. I bet the Ultras don’t laugh very much as they spend so much time being passionate?
Trust me, both in south america and around in europe they have really dirty chants. Just here in Sweden we got some chants from plenty of teams who's pretty tough to put on youtube..
So the clip with the first offensive words in Greece, it will surprise you more because it's actually a basketball match and not football. Imagine that crowd, those flares and the hype of it all indoors.. In the NBA they remove fans if causing too much disturbance.. Maybe do a reaction to European v American basketball fans
It is a kind of pseudo-religion to a lot of fans, ultimately it is us representing our city/area, in the US the fans seem to be just customers, in Europe the fans are part of the game, we're one with our club, even if we're not doing well, our club is our club, its about pride in your city, the guy stood next to you feels the same thing, as does everyone else, the home stadium is basically our cathedral, away from home youre going into someone elses house trying to storm their fortress
👍Most fans grew up in the city, we know the fan chants from a young age, it's not just about football, but about our city, family, culture. It's like showing to be ready to defend the city.
Dynamo Dresden. Erst east east germany The Fans march like soldiers. This Was a big Thing in Germany. The dress was an army dress. Lock in TH-cam. Dynamo Dresden in Karlsruhe. The government and defence of konstitution was not happy about this. This Was in the Media for a few days in Germany
None of these football fans can compare to the British fans. It’s f you don’t want to hear the rude and insulting chants then don’t go to a football match. Here in the U.K., we just accept it - it is a football thing and won’t ever be banned as any can would be ignored!
The first one is Dynamo Dresden. They used to be a football powerhouse of the former East Germany (German Democratic republic, 1949-1990) but after the reunification they are kinda mediocre and laughing stock since the money mostly stayed in the former West. So they got the mentality that instead of being laughed at for being Ossies ("Easterners") they will rather get FEARED for being ones. On stadium, it is really intimidating, and they go out in big numbers and always keep united colours, so it is really big.
Hello brothers, could you react to the Argentine fans in the World Cups in the world, they are the best fans, you will see what I am saying, also the commercials they made for the World Cups, I hope you can translate them to understand the feeling and support around the world for our team. I have to say: you're so cute together. 😂 I mean. He is pretty. She is pretty. But together you're twice as pretty. That probably sounds stupid as f0ck, but whatever 😅
MLS has a few teams with ultras, such as the Portland Timbers Army, Saint Louis City, Cincinnati and LAFC. The atmosphere at their home matches is very pleasant. If you want to experience something close to the fans in the video, you should check them out.

Funnily, the video of Aris (the one with the many bad words) is from a basketball match.
The mainland Europeans have the UK beat when it comes to passion, but we push the boundaries and our chants are more funny.
The continentals have a humour by-pass, they take themselves way too seriously.
Second chant is Celtic Glasgow singing Depeche Mode song 'I just can't get enough' so it isn't real theirs chant
