To the couple with the dog that needed the blood transfusion, it's quite obvious just how much the three of you are the perfect family I especially enjoyed seeing how happy the dog was when mom and dad came to say see you in a while. She is such a sweet little girl
Amazing video, it's truly a miracle they were able to save the dog that was bleeding internally. My dog died so fast from internal bleeding of a ruptured spleen tumor we didn't know he had out of no where. I was almost certain that dog in the video wasn't going to make it, but their quick thinking and talent saved her.
Seeing how Dr G was able to give Billy back her own blood, it seems almost like magic! Medical science is truly remarkable - as are the people who perform it! And when it comes to the poor little puppy, never underestimate just how tough tiny dogs are - I was always a big dog person, but one Chihuahua and Jack Russell cross later, and I am a devotee of the minidogs!!
I totally agree. Let me add this: The larger dogs 🐕can also be tough where there is a very strong bond of live between both dog and Guardian (or parent).
Dr G. your awesome!!! Billy’s parents love you I’m sure! I knew DR Chris would help the rabbit he can work miracles! Dr Steve is awesome also, he did great for Cliff!
Tough little guy! Agree. My rescue kitty, only had a cleft lip, was found as a stray at about a year old and I came to the conclusion that her mom must of rejected her because although just a cleft lip, she struggled to get milk, but somehow managed to survive. I adopted her at a Pet Store at age 2 and had quite a struggle with creating a feline or kitty- human bond, she bit and scratched me every time I even tried to pet her! I had worked with cats a long time and was not giving up! I knew she wanted love and affectionate. Finally I broke through Honey Peaches tough barrier, and she is a sweet, loving ole girl now at age 7! The tiny little pup has a amazing doctor, team to keep him alive thru such delicate surgery. Amen!🙏🙏🐶😊😊🥰🥰💜💜💜✝️✝️✝️
I hand-raised a Pug puppy with a cleft palate (no hair lip). Used an eyedropper to give him formula. He was an incredibly determined little guy and we both learned coping mechanisms. When he was older, over time, the vet tried several different techniques to try to close that palate. Never worked, and he had a cleft palate all his life. He lived for 9 years before something else eventually killed him.
When I was young and first married I was at Walmart and someone was trying to get people to take a very young puppy. Her mother had not produced milk. So we adopted her. Had to bottle feed her every 2 hours. It was hard but she was worth it
Billy is such a stunning looking dog with a clearly wonderful temperment I am so happy she will be ok! 🥰 Man there is something about a grown man crying that breaks my heart! I can feel his pain ..bunny thankfully is ok! ❤️ Wow says alot about the doc to have done such an amazing job on wee little cliff!
My heart breaks, gets full again, then breaks again at the next clip... This was most definitely nail biting and stress filled, but then Bondi Vet always saves the day 😭❤
Little tiny Cliff. Touched my heart. My Chihuahua ended up in emergency C-section. The pup that was stuck didn't make it. Had a cleft pallet as well. 😢 One of the surviving pups that I kept looks just like Cliff! Vet said he was to tiny to save. I'm so glad Chris didn't give up 😊

it is so wild how a pup run over by at least 3 cars and 2 trucks just has a small hairline type fracture in its hips and a brain swell (was back to normal quickly) then a pup gets hit by one bike gets internal bleeding
Im so happy chris let the couple know about the blood vessels in the ears. They may be able to avoid another trip like that knowing how to better cool her down quickly
love how much these vets care. My cat Bones she was a stray. I took her in she was about 8 months old beautiful cat. I found out three weeks in having her she was pregnant and I am pretty sure that is why she ended up a stray because Bones was the perfect kitty. I helped her deliver her baby kitties 1boy Bear and 1 little girl Peanut. about a year goes by she developes a Urinary Blockage. I called over 10 vets in Rhode Island and in the boarding state Mass. No vet would see her because I did not have the full amount of money that night to treat her when I got paid the next day. She was knocking on deaths door and these vet would not see her over 20 friggin dollars my heart broke. She die that night w me even though I know she wanted to be alone. I have yet to meet any Vets up here that have just the bedside manner of the Bondi Vet. My Cats now Do have a very good VET Bless her heart but she is in another state a hour away from my house... Bless the all the animals and Vets
Sorry to hear that. My dog died of unexplained reasons. He was lethargic and sickly. We took him to an emergency vet and they wanted $500 upfront. I yelled at that lady as I held my baby in my arms. He was put to sleep. He was only 8.... I understand now as an adult to have emergency money for ur pup. I was just a teenager. I screamed at that lady receptionist. They could help they just wanted money not to help
Aww little Cliff is the cutest thing ever! You guys and the owner all did awesome at helping him out! Hopefully his canine parents don't have more babies though if the issue is genetic (so no more puppies have to worry about potentially starving.)
Max reminds me of my 13 years old Max. I lost him a couple of years ago. He had always been an indoor cat, but due to serious health problems, he had already lived much longer than expected. I decided to let him out for a little while each day. One Sunday, I didn't notice he was out. After I returned from church I couldn't find him. Later that day I received the call saying my eldest sister had fallen, and would be transferred to a larger hospital. I immediately left for the hospital without thinking about anything else. Later that night, my sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She died six days later. Max was never found. I still find myself looking for him. Watching this beautiful tabby has me all up in my feels today.
First….Yay for Billie, I was worried for a min. Just the thought of going through what they are is gut wrenching… I love my dogs so incredibly much I just can’t imagine. Secondly, Gerardo… He is one FINE MAN! And the fact that he loves animals as much as I do puts him number one On my hall pass list lol

I had a rabbit like bunny. He went everywhere with me, and I mean everywhere. I used to drive a truck cross country for a living and my baby boy was my co-pilot. He was harness trained and we stopped somewhere I would take him out and let him hop around. Until one day a dog came out of nowhere and tryed to attach him. That's when we had to start watching out where and when we had our walks.
My cat Lizzy, who was such an amazing mama to william, heard the cries of the puppy and she seemed worried. She's still here watching the screen with me.
Hi doctor this is Theresa grub here in Seneca Missouri I appreciate your videos and thank you so much I'm mentally slow and buy you watching you at really helps me it to dance like things I've got a Chihuahua mix Pomeranian and I have a long hair Chihuahua smaller so her name is bunny and the Pomeranian mixed Chihuahua Scooby-Doo thank you so much for helping me love you and have a good day
I’ve been in that situation where my cat was in a life or death situation. Trust me, you get filled with anxiety, your body is shaking from nerves, and you cannot process the situation. I remember silencing my phone & just sent a text to my family because I just couldn’t handle transferring the news. I was visibly nervous, and even though this lady didn’t seem to be, I’m sure her mind was running with nerves.
She wasn't being rude, she just couldn't cope with explaining the situation to her daughter right then when her dog is literally dying in front of her. Plus she didn't have the time to explain. She probably called her daughter back later as soon as she could. It's very easy to be judgemental but when you're under massive stress like that, you are just laser focused on the crisis and what's happening right in front of you. She did a good job of keeping her dog calm and that was the important thing.
There are so many medical procedures that have been tested on animals before humans. Can you put coils in an arterial bleed like you can in humans? This was an amazing save!! 💕
Great video! i can really feel how stressed they may have been, especially for the bunny but i really do think yes maybe the old couple have seen their bunny has gotten a heat stroke, but they shouldn't have put them in the pool because that could make them go into shock and cause them to act like that i do think that spraying water on it was a great idea but all i'm trying to say is just dont put in a body of water because they could go into shock and they could have a seizure, but you guys did awesome on helping the bunny! 😆😆
Yep, very good point. A cold body of water is going to cause too sudden of a temperature change and can cause shock, this stuff applies to humans too but even more for rabbits as their metabolism is higher and they're more fragile health-wise.
Dear Gerard you sure was jonny on the spot. What a scary scenario, did they ever figure how this condition occured, my hearing is very bad l hope l didn't just missed it. Keep on keeping on❣l watch this clip again and l understood what had happened, poor dog was run over by a biker and caused a blood clot.
Thank you dr. Scott this is Theresa I'm mentally slow by watching your videos helps me out dr. Clark Aaron Seneca he passed away he had Cobra and he's known my inmost for years and years and years since back in 1990 and now we got another doctor at the Seneca vet thank you
There are many types of tick and flea prevention, not just collars. In some parts of the world, even parts of the US, ticks are evolving to be resistant to medications used in tick prevention. I don't know if this cat has had tick prevention, but I do know that it is possible for this to happen even with tick prevention. It is important to check your pets over every time they've been outside, once a day if they are an outside animals, no matter if they are being treated or not.
People handle stress and worry differently. Perhaps the tears were shed at home. Besides, it would have freaked poor Pearl if they broke down in front of her.
Wow, didn't know dogs could develop DIC. Have had (human) patients experience it. Never saw an animal with these symptoms. Any breeds more prone to bleeding disorders?
QUESTION: What was the reason that Pearl’s body began to destroy her own blood pallettes??? (My sister just weeks ago had the same diagnosis and was also saved by steroid tablets, just like Pearl the poodle, but no one can tell us where it came from. Or how to prevent it from happening again…. Does Chris or anyone know?)
Love your channel! It has become my new favorite! It inspired me to volunteer at our local SPCA. I just have to ask why you need to blur all needles and blood? I understand graphic images but you should be able to show needles and blood. It is a medical channel so is this a UK or Australian requirement? My husband is a surgeon and his videos are purely educational and show pretty much everything... as long as it's not overly graphic. I'm just curious! I wish you could me my fur baby's vet team! You guys are the best. 🧡🧡🫶🫶
Poor pearl 😢my mom has a poodle looks identical to this beautiful girl! She is about 13 years old now and still pushing! She reminds me of pearl but a little smaller!
Reminder to everyone- do not keep your cats outside unless they are in an enclosure or on a harness. It is dangerous for them and it dangerous for native life as well as other pets. And especially, never leave them out at night.
My 4 cats have been able to go outside whenever they want, all our neighbours cat go out when they want, some don't even have a cat door, they just call the cat at night and if it doesn't come it stays outside, they are all fine.
@@mrscookie8142 outdoor cats live dramatically shorter lives not to mention the risks of being hit by a car or catching thing like FIV from other cats ( which my cat has)
@@KayGreylai I am pretty sure it depends on where you live, cats can also get vaccinated against fiv. Sorry about your cat, but I have 4 and they are fine, just like the other 10 cats in our street.
@@mrscookie8142 then you are very lucky, but the research still stands and I have personally lost three cats as a child to outdoor life ( two to cat fights one to a car) but that's just an anecdote like yours and doesn't change the data. Why take the risk when there are safer ways to offer them the same fulfilling life with things like walks or a catio? Though I do hope your babies defy the odds and live long healthy lives :). Also I adopted my cat with FIV because nobody else wanted a six month old kitten that only wanted cuddles, because of the disease. He was scheduled for euthanasia that day as he had been there three months. There's just too many negatives and not enough positives for me to support people having outdoor cats, and not every negative affects just your cats alone.
Wow doing surgery on a little pup like that would not be easy I had to seringe feed my cats kitten's when they were a day old becuse she had no milk and that was nerve racking could not imagine this on a pup but they did a fantastic job

Oh Teresa much love sent to u and Bunny and Scooby doo your two fur babies! I love Bondi Vet to! I'm addicted to it! 💕💙💜🐶🐶💕💙💜🙏from Australia!
The Sash group of vets are excellent too and they do great.🙂
Great job in saving the dogs.
I can feel the pressure
Billie ue such a beauty!
Poor poodle and puppy Pearl.😢 Chris will help anyway he can..
The way Pearl's mom just talked to her own daughters amazes me
Yeah, there scared for the dog as well u don't need to be a twat just tell them your busy with the dog but will tell them when up dated on the dog
There wasn't much she could say, her dog is actively dying in her arms. She was trying to be stern to prevent panic.

You guys are amazing vets🌟💗
With THEM (the Veterinarians), only LOVE builds
I cried about max poor baby
Dr G saved that beautiful dog 😭😭😭😭😭
Great story with Billy...great save!
13:00 okay, I'm crying now
Thank you dr. Scott this is Theresa I'm mentally slow by watching your videos helps me out dr. Clark Aaron Seneca he passed away he had Cobra and he's known my inmost for years and years and years since back in 1990 and now we got another doctor at the Seneca vet thank you
I see several animals come in with ticks. But I never see tick collars? They work great in the US
There are many types of tick and flea prevention, not just collars. In some parts of the world, even parts of the US, ticks are evolving to be resistant to medications used in tick prevention. I don't know if this cat has had tick prevention, but I do know that it is possible for this to happen even with tick prevention. It is important to check your pets over every time they've been outside, once a day if they are an outside animals, no matter if they are being treated or not.
i love you guys
Does it freak anyone else out a bit how none of the three owners of Pearl were bawling their eyes out? Because I would be... Consistently
Wish there was a follow up on all the pets.
This is a great video! I'm gonna binge y'all's stuff now.
33:37 You can hear max purring when she takes him out
We love you.

Sometimes, the immune system... just... goes screwy.
@@jerrylobster1149I love this medical answer. Lol
Parents crying because their dog has hopefully recovered: 😢
Meanwhile...
Me: Wait, is that the same brand of tissues I have!?
I love bunny lovers ❤️❤️❤️
I’m not crying - you’re 😭
They’re smart to blur any needles, some people shudder at the sight of sharps. Just a detail I noticed
I love this profile❤️
Wow doing surgery on a little pup like that would not be easy I had to seringe feed my cats kitten's when they were a day old becuse she had no milk and that was nerve racking could not imagine this on a pup but they did a fantastic job
Ohh pearl hope u gets better despite of bad hair cuts... 😂 I hope there is follow up video abt pearl.
The puppy with a cleft palate, he could have been tube fed until surgery is safer.
Not necessarily. There's a lot of risks with tube feeding and he was way too small for most average size tubes anyway.
@@emilyelizabethbuchanan998 look up The Kitten Lady. She tube feeds newborn kittens if necessary. It's certainly possible to train someone and get the right equipment. 😻
epic a new video.
!!! Omg! These Poor Animals! I feel So Bad I would Die For Animals
