Another problem with this show is that they are able to confer with the girls/boys in the backstage before and after, spoiling the point of the blindfolds and the show in general by putting in pre-conceived notions about the person that rejected the person before them. There's so much wrong with this show, it is entertaining but annoying as hell.

My school bus driver had such a huge impact on every kid in my neighborhood. I grew up in a small town and the bus driver lived right in the middle of the neighborhood and she would let us use the bus as a hideout all the time. It's a show that's created for drama, playing it straight to the rules makes for a less "entertaining" show. They aren't trying to prove or explore interesting questions about human behavior, just trying to make the viewers as emotionally engaged as possible. The blindfold doesn’t address the base problem. Pressing the button should have the opposite effect it currently has. Instead of having the other person leave after you press the button, the person who pressed the button should leave. Otherwise, there’s way too much incentive to press the button and get a new date.

My school bus driver had such a huge impact on every kid in my neighborhood. I grew up in a small town and the bus driver lived right in the middle of the neighborhood and she would let us use the bus as a hideout all the time. When we would play hide'n'seek, the bus was essentially part of where would hide or it would be where the counter started. She was a wonderful person. RIP Mrs O!

The blindfold doesn’t address the base problem. Pressing the button should have the opposite effect it currently has. Instead of having the other person leave after you press the button, the person who pressed the button should leave. Otherwise, there’s way too much incentive to press the button and get a new date.

@@Aiko_63194 yes, however, the alternative you are suggesting can create stalemates between two people. both want to have the opportunity to try a different date, neither of them will touch the button first. i think the fundamental problem here is having only ONE shot. there should be 2 tables set up, in different areas, that the contestants can go to if they got rejected, or something along those lines.

I don’t think it’s wrong to have a preference on body type when dating, but going onto a blindfolded dating show when you already have strict expectations for someone’s appearance is just stupid.
how is that stupid? this makes no sense lmao. the blindfolds arent there to force you to lower your standards to whatever comes to you, whether good or bad. the blindfolds are there to encourage conversation. talk about interests, try to connect, and most importantly, make the show more interesting. they are running a youtube channel, they know what they are doing. they dont care about making people "connect on a personal level". they just want more content. and it works great.
