The chords in AC DC songs may sound simple but it's the timing between the lead, rhythm, bass and drums that makes it pure...
when u don’t know a song, but you make you own version while live, with very little time, and you improvise and make it sound like a beautiful masterpiece - that’s the sign of a great musician.

A lot of guys can do this. But he puts it all together on the fly. That is what is entertaining. He has the technology with him. And he does a great job with that.

Whole Lotta Rosie is my fave AC-DC song but the first time I saw them at a school dance in Sydney they were still years away from that. Angus really did look like a schoolkid and Bon was glammed up, complete with 6-inch platform heels. INXS were even more underwhelming when I saw them in a pub a few years later and I was as shocked as anyone when they made it in the US. The golden age of pub rock in Sydney was a great time to be alive.

I’m 66 years old now (jeez! 🙈🙈😂) and when I was a kid I used to take my guitar into old folks homes to entertain them. I had to learn all the old songs from around the time of the war.
Today’s old folk, like me, grew up on rock n roll, and when I do the same job nowadays, R&R is what they want!! I wonder what it’ll be like in another 50 years? I really am rubbish at doing Dua Lipa’s stuff!! 🙈😂😂😂

He did not understand neither Bluesrock nor ACDC. He made some 80s Hardrock-Thing, not bad but far away from ACDC. Ok, he played it spontainous but in the end it was a drumcomputer-looped Hardrock-Riff with typical Hairmetal-Solo. Technical really good.

I’m in my 20’s and the back in black album is my fav album. I’ll be 25 in May it’ll be 43 in July and when I finally learn the guitar ? Hells bells the opening track is the first song I ever wanna play . And to those who say that makes me old? Idc what anyone says I can like older music it comes with the territory of being the youngest of 6 kids. And my mother was a police woman for the state of South Carolina where I’m from and she’s from Scotland originally where Angus and Malcolm are from. She’s gonna be 68 at the end of March ironically like Angus . Anyways rock n roll and heavy metal no matter how old it is? Truly never goes out of fashion back in black is actually the second best selling album of all time so it’s literally the highest selling rock album of all time. But me, stating a fact aside, do you have any advice for beginner guitarists ? I have literally 7 guitars 2 electrics 1 bass and 4 acoustics . All hand me downs accept the 2 electrics .

Good to see many older people enjoying rock and roll. But it's interesting, I know some people when Rock came along (Bill Halley, elvis, chuck berry) etc. they could not make the mental leap from polkas and crooners et al. Sad.
