I gave $20 to a homeless guy and he cried and almost hugged me which freaked me out a bit. It was like I gave him a $100 or more.
Tbh I kind of regretted giving $20 away. I wasn't really in a financial position to do so and my mom would've gotten angry for wasting that money away but the guy was really happy and he seemed to need it more than me.

He may of been a drug addict or alcoholic the 20 dollars you gave him could of been used to purchase more. Next time if you want to help someone you should buy them food instead of giving the money.

Good job, you did a hard thing. I like to ask people what they want to eat and if they have eaten anything yet and then buy two of their favorite meal with a two beverages and then whatever change is left, i give them that. Try that.

Eye opening and heart breaking. Why can't police just seize the rich villain and take all his assets? The weakness of the law system is mind boggling

Thank-you Richard for an insightful look at what modern slavery is and how to end it. I guess to end slavery, one has to establish a knowledge base of what it means to not just be enslaved but the history of the oppression of slavery to an individual, groups, families and the country they're enslaved in. Thanks again Richard.

This is barbaric act and is not acceptable. Every man needs freedom. Slaves owner should be jailed for life.

Also how about the Drug Slaves. Arrest the drug dealers, selling illegal narcotics, not the addicts. Then help those people instead of just leaving them with their addictions, or on the streets. Help them after.

How can we stop the law / government / courts to create slavery ( prison industrial complex) in the USA? On the international stage we ( the USA) provided and implemented very good results to end human trafficking/ slavery and yet we have double standards in the USA.
