- Neil Byrne and Ryan Kelly with special guest Damian McGinty performing "The Garden" on the Celtic Thunder 10th Anniversary Cruise, November 8, 2017. Featuring Nicole Hudson on violin and Peter Sheridan on keyboards.
First time I heard Damian McGinty sing 'Bird without wing's, my discovery of Celtic Thunder.
Now we have Celtic Thunder music every day. I'm 87 and just love listening to Celtic Thunder.

So happy. didn't know people still sing songs, so sweet and real like this.
Growing up, Jewish religious home. Family sang together around the Sabbath
table. and Sunday afternoons gathered around grand piano in the Living room,
circa 1940-1950. I woke up in Jerusalem this morning singing, "Just a Song at twilight."
Figured, no one would ever know that song anymore. Got on line and found you
genuine young musicians sharing this Scottish beauty. Thank you from this great grandmother.
My sweet voiced soprano Mom could play any song presented to her. My father
(67 years married and still in love) and sisters all
sang along. That song touched all our hearts and we felt a part of their
circle of love. Partly why I became a music therapist.
Keep singing true and beautiful.

This is a beautiful song when Neil and Ryan sing it together. Throw in that 3rd harmony with Damian and it becomes something spectacular. I really hope CT adds this to their repertoire, either with Ryan and Neil or with all three.

They are not the originals. They do seem to have established themselves more though
@@diannemetcalfe3286 Damian and Ryan are the original's. Neil came in later on. I been listening to them since they started. Neil started as a guitar player for their band. George, Damian, Keith, Ryan, Paul, Emmett Cohill. Are the Originals. If you been a fan of their's since they started you would know. Neil and Ryan got together to do their own thing on the side from the Band. And yes they are a band. Because they all play instruments. They are Irish. Most Irish learn something in the Music industry.

Thanks for posting. This was my one mistake...I really wanted to see Paul and didn't realize he was doing a show later in the week on the cruise so I ended up missing this show to see his.
I learned you can only do so much in a day. Some events overlapped or I had an upset stomach after rushing from late dining to see Colm and Laura, these things happen but the performers made up for it in every case as they were trying their best with us.

I actually have Ryan's Autograph. I had to mail it to him to Iraland though to get it. Thats the thing with CT. If you can't get to one of their concerts. They will do that. I need to frame it. Would love to go to one though. I wish I got to when all the originals was in the group..

Dissapointment! I loved the music, except that it overpowers the singers so much that it is hard to make out what they are saying/singing, especially if you are unfamiliar with the song. I am, however a big fan of the lads. It's been fun watching the changes over the years.....like watching Damian mature into the stellar singer....the early days of "Thunder" and then on the TV high school program, and now back with "Thunder" again. Keep up the good work.

Yes Damian ❤️ has grown fantastically. As far as Ryan is concerned, i have been enjoying his talent for at least a dozen years and own all of Celtic thunders dvds except new Christmas Eve one. I love everything 💞🤠 about Ryan Kelly including HOW HE EMPHASIZES HIS MUSIC WITH HAND AND BODY MOVEMENTS . MAYBE AN EAR CHECK WOULD IMPROVE YOUR APPRECIATION OF HIM.ANY WAY CT can be so proud of the group and all of the guys and gals that are involved . get well soon Ryan THANK YOU AND Lots of love to all

Neil and Ryan are so funny, they have awesome chemistry, so does the rest of the Celtic thunder band mate. They always have fun a good laugh. the begging is so funny how Ryan asks, are you OK with this so far. and Neil answers I'm OK so far. And Ryan's laugh is cool.

I was really looking forward to this song only to find, to my disappointment, I couldn't really hear the voices. Instrumentals were just to loud. Should have been recognized and corrected. What a shame. All the folks involved in this song have a God given talent and it's almost criminal that you can't hear the vocalists. Instrumentalist were very good. Just too loud. Hope that's been correct in last 6 years. Thank you all for your willingness to share your talent with all of us.
