    Maybe the front seat failing causes head trauma

    I drive at 55mpg avg which is probably indicative of the avg person. 35 mph is outdated.

      I may be wrong but I believe in most crashes there is some sort of panic braking involved prior to impact which would reduce impact speed closer to their level. I know there are cases where cars just ram into each other with no braking but I think that’s the logic
