    The probiotic pickles are the kind that are fermented and are found in the refrigerated section of the grocery. The version to avoid shouldn’t have vinegar which is found in the grocery aisle.

    Probiotic sauerkraut is also the kind found in the refrigerated section. Avoid shelf sauerkraut.

    Unfortunately you did not include Kefir. Kefir have yeast , better than yogurt.

      It's one of my favourites. I freeze it and use it as ice cream in fruit smoothies. Delicious😊 absolutely amazing stuff for anybody with sensory issues

    I think tempe and yoghurt are the most bearable fermented food. Because they don’t smell strong / acid

    If you are lactose intolerant can you eat parmesab cheese?

      Real parmesan is supposed to be aged long enough so that it no longer has lactose. Cheap parmesans probably arent authentic though.

      Kombucha is a fermented drink available in market but store bought has lots of sugars in it

      I think it's both. A prebiotic is something that feeds probiotics. So the cabbage is pre and then it grows the pro.

      The probiotic apple cider vinegar is the unfiltered version which has the probiotic cultures.

      @@Mark-te8ky Most supermarkets in the US have kefir in the dairy section. Whole Foods and Trader Joes' also carry kefir (look in the yogurt section of your supermarket).

      Cheap cheese is bad no doubt about that. But true proper authentic cheese made from healthy cows sheep and goats and the right cultures is super good.
