Hey I found a 2009 ISF with 40,000 miles for $29000. Clean car fax. Only issues were the water pump replaced, and a fan replaced all services done at dealerships
I don't see why people keep complaining when you race, these cars are just that good from the factory for dig races.. It's not your fault they sleep at the tree lol.
The gearing in those isf are so good that know one understands. if you know how to launch the car it is animal. Plus with good tires and the gearing it’s sick
So many people think that IS-F/IS350 are slow. I race a Dodge Challenger R/T the other day and I was surprised how well my IS350 did. We were head to head the whole time. Dodge driver had to stop and give me a thumbs up. IS350 surprised me every time I race someone so IS-F is even better.

Yeah I don't get why people are surprised that this car is close to stock. Quick research and your can find there isn't much engine bolt on mods for the 2UR-GSE. The F cars and regular lexus cars have a pretty fast diff and transmission ratio setup that is good from the factory.
I'm on my second ISF and the transmission is where it sticks it to the other cars. Just as quick as a DCT and more reliable. Going from first to 2nd gear happens so quick plus 2nd is long too. 8th mile helps alot too with this car.

Now that I see what your running, I will take you in 1/4, with my Charger Scatpack (Zautomotive Tazer, drop in K&N filter, Mopar strut tower brace and wider rear tires). My favorite car to beat right now is the RCF, $20K more and slower then all the competition in its class of N/A V8's (Mustang GT, Camaro SS and Challenger Scatpack). If your ever in Southern Cali, lets get a 1/4 in. PB 0-60/4.0, 12.0 in the 1/4. Good racing man, keep it up, no hate on you or Lexus', just a man of science and numbers.
Those are pretty good numbers. I have family that has the charger scat pack who I’ve ran with at the drag strip and on road courses. He pretty much has the same setup and numbers as you on the 1/4th. I will say their value is pretty good for the power and money spent on a new vehicle. Now when we go on a road course together, advantage ISF. 😁😎
I’m sure you’ve probably mentioned it in another video but what kind of longevity are you getting from the Indy 500s? Front and rear. All things considered - your driving habits, inner tire wear, etc...
It seems to me that people forget that Lexus is Toyota, and Toyota is know for the Supra. People feel like since the Supra was discontinued in the late '90s Toyota hasn't had a strong engine, but that's not the case. They just haven't had a sports car as popular as the Supra since then, but they've still had sting engines. Hence, the 2GR-FE that's in every Lotus Evora and in the current Exige. Currently they're making over 400 bhp stock and there have been built 2GR's that have made in excess of 700 whp. Keep up what you're doing. Prove the haters wrong.
Been watching these videos a while, this is all very well and good but you eluded to it yourself and it's the thing I struggle with the most in mine.... How do you launch this thing?! I just get spinning wheels, flashing traction lights and lots of beeping! Do a launch process / methodology video for the F please.
Its all in the gearing and the grip you have from those Firestones, people dont understand that their isnt even that much available for these engines. They're just monsters point blank, performance, and reliability. That's Toyota for you.
You can also do a turbo. I guess that fast ISF also replaced his rods and pistons but like I said unless your a mechanic it cost too much to tear the engine apart to upgrade internal components. I would do the the rr racing oil cooler.

I believe the results will be the same. You don’t have to do the pedal dance on the ISF, just hold down the traction control button down for 5 seconds and it’s fully off.

There is one question you did not answer once, that was, what is the reason or what are the reasons you will not put headers on your isf? Not saying you must or shaming you, just wanted to understand your point of view on it.

I really love the car but I kinda hate Lexus for their decision to use that huge engine , a 4.0L engine can make it every day but that huge thing eats your breakfast , lunch and dinner.
I don’t think it’s excessively large. The 4.0L of the time was the motor in the M3 and that had the same power but was way down on torque. Then you have the C63 which has a 6.2L motor in it so the 5.0 is right in the middle. Gas mileage is pretty good as well, especially with the 8 gears.
I figured I would do it to silence all the doubters and leave them scratching their heads. I'm sure they'll come up with more excuses as it seems like plenty of people don't understand what a driver mod is. Oh well..
The good news is that it sounds like they have a few offers to take it over under a new name. Hopefully that pans out! If it does it would be cool if you ran your ISF out there with me! 😁

Yup, only a handful of power mods for this car and very few manufacturers.

It sure is, the lightning quick shifts help to keep the power going with very little time in between shifts.

We can get to 500HP with headers, exhaust, intake and tune but then you're pretty much maxed out unless you go with forced induction.

There actually is a lot of MODs for the engine through RR and Sicky. Just freakin expensive. There's an ISF doing 10's on 1/4.
Aside from the supercharger there really aren’t too many power mods one can do to the ISFs. Headers, exhaust, intake, tune are about it.
