You got an ISF? Congrats! Yes, you can see many changes that have occurred since this video was made. In fact, the garage has a whole different vibe these days.
That's terrific. The owner of this ISF is very much the same! He tracked it down in BC and made the guy an offer he couldn't refuse because this is his dream car! Dream do come true everyone!
Lukas This was back in my Leno’s Garage days. I used their 1-2-3 polish system. It removed some fine blemishes, but I wonder if a wet sand would have would have been more effective. I have no experience with wet sanding but I’d like to learn. Thanks for watching and commenting.
That Jay Leno's Quick Detail its amazing I bought one yesterday and by far one of the top contender... Its Superior IMO to many of the common store shelf products... I even like it better than Adams and Chemical Guys, Mothers, Meguiar's ... It has a very smooth to the touch silky almost and leaves a bright shine
I had that car for about four days iirc. A few hours here and a few hours there. Much easier for me to give my full energy if the project is broken up into segments. Only downside of that is my car has to sit outside so much!
D Q Details! Oops, I was thinking of a different project. This one came to me in a Friday evening and left late Saturday afternoon. We had to get it home before a giant rainstorm hit the city.
Wow. Nice pearl white colour. The engine bay and centre console detail show your true artistic approach. Question, if I have put a quick detailed on after the wash, can I still then use a carnauba wax after that? Thanks Rick 🤟🏻
EJ Productions Yes, the floor has a pitch to it that allows water to flow under the floor and out of the garage. It helps that I apply a quality sealer to the floor every couple of years, too.
Aj Aj The pitch of my slab ensures the water flows under the floor towards the driveway. I don't use water in my garage during winter months because it would cause icing on the driveway. Thanks for your question. Lots more videos if you're interested. Check them out!
Thanks. I used a full gamut of Leno's Garage products on this IS-F detail. Wheel Cleaner, All Purpose Cleaner, Interior Detailers, Leather Cleaner, Quick Detailer, Tire and Trim Care, and I think that's it. I now use Adam's but the Leno's products are high quality and I enjoyed using them. All the best.
Hi there - many thanks for the video - always a joy to watch. I've just purchased a IS 250 and the leather seats etc have some discolouration (not sure if water has been left to sit on the leather in places) and was wondering what leather cleaning product you have used in the video. I'm over here in Scotland, however, maybe I can source what you've used via Amazon - keep up the great content :)
Awesome to hear from you and congrats on your IS 250. What colour are your seats? I'm not a real leather pro yet, but if you send a pic through my website I can give you my armchair diagnosis. Hit me up at www.radgarage.ca/contact.html
Great video like always. Wife's lexus is the same color and I cant clean as much as I want and after it rains the exterior door handles leave black lines under them. Drives me nuts.
R A D G a r a g e yea it's easy. A little m205 on a white pad gets rid of it but it's so annoying to even have to deal with it in the first place. Must be some foam or something they use that gets saturated and leaves a black trail.
I've always wondered what would be a good cleaner for the exhaust tips. I purchased the P21S product because of this video and it works amazingly well on my ISF as well!
Cheers, my ISF tips are always dull so will have to try this product. I got nervous when you scrubbed them, the tips are so flimsy, 1 of mine has already come off lol
Carlos Castañeda This video was shot when I was using a lot of Leno's Garage products. I used their wheel cleaner on this ISF. I now use Adam's Eco Wheel Cleaner and their original Wheel Cleaner. Both pulverize brake dust.
Carlos Castañeda Sorry for late reply. TH-cam doesn't notify me of someone replied to my reply. Leno's is only available through their lenosgarage.com website. I'm now using Adam's which is more widely available.
awesome work!! why go with Leno garage products instead of Meguiars or Chemical Guys. never tried Leno products, but do love Meguiars. I use to detail full time for a shop for years now just do it on the side, but definitely wanna do more.
