I've never heard about this, but imo maybe it depends on who's the cashier? I've bought clothes in uniqlo quite frequently and the cashier will give you the item with either two hands or one. I never saw the same person twice so...
they replaced the cashiers with self checkout machines for mine. when i pick up my order at the customer service counter they don’t do that, they just hand it regularly
Not that in Asian countries , I found most of their sales staffs are very eager to do their jobs. Even when walking by they would say Hello and ask if you are looking for sth that they could help.
Former Uniqlo employee. Typically we would especially so if we were in Japan due to the those customs. We employ several Japanese philosophies at work Zenin Keie is one of them.
Some stores in Japan don’t necessarily handover the goods to customers at the tills with two hands. It’s a matter of management and training that lead to the varied quality of service between retailers.
Me and my cousins went in the small showroom, the owner knew that we weren't buying anything, so he told we are closing, and we went out, and after some minutes we passed by and the showroom was still open. Bastard. But, in a week, his shop got permanently closed. Lmao
You went after 5 pm most employees working. Those hours are part time employees maybe if you went during day you’ll find full time employees who actually follow the training. This is just my theory
Hes probably just too lazy to do it xD

Guy gets minimum wage give him a break 😂
In Japan they don’t have that sort of attitude. They do everything to the best even if minimum wage.
Maybe he doesn’t deserve minimum wage lol
@@goblinpicklesworth2968 then maybe he should find another job
Yeah…such a simple job and he couldn’t even do it right🤦♂️
@@GeoRod305 wonder why their suicide rates are so high and work satisfaction rates are so low lol
Honestly tho UNIQLO has one of the best quality clothes!
100% 😊
Man said chao to a person working at a japanese store
might say ciao to everyone… don’t think anyone would mistake Italian for Japanese.
I think Max is Ukrainian and I'm pretty sure that in Ukrainian, «чао» (ciao) is a way of saying "bye" or "see you later"

You're trying to look smart but just making yourself look ignorant
Try it in Japan 🇯🇵
anyone else notice how this guy does the idle raptor hands while waiting for his shirt
😂… well, I am still jealous of you that you have a UNIQLO shop near your place 😂😂😂
how was he gonna put the shirt in the bag with two hands on the shirt?
Can you make a video comparing Snapple, brisk, and AriZona
It’s sometimes true, some employees follow this rule or rather just being polite and other don’t really bother, don’t blame them tho 😂
Not that in Asian countries , I found most of their sales staffs are very eager to do their jobs. Even when walking by they would say Hello and ask if you are looking for sth that they could help.
Love your coat! XD

The guy used one hand because you said its for zour sister. Therefore you have to hand it over with two hands!
He was never been seen since UNIQLO watched this video
This has been so entertaining to watch❤️
uniqlo staff here. He will get chewed on for this video :(
watching this makes me question every single BS this guy ever said in all of his videos 😂

You just got someone fired /j
The worst off sales are people. If some people don’t want to collaborate then your system won’t work.
Congrats you have just fired a man from his job
he must say “thank you please come again” i know bcs i’m uniqlo staff
The cashier's a foreigner. 😂
Maybe this was true precovid but now the stores have glass that they have to pass it around
Try stores in Thailand.
Watch him get fired 😂😂
U da best man
No cuz the ones in Malaysia actually do give it out in two hands
I love doing this in my fresh meat profession when I know a customer is a Japanese or Korean old-timer
Nah, Uniqlo prolly has sales people and fashion designers or something.
Holding stuff with two hands would probably make the business go better
I work at Uniqlo and I’ve been taught to use 2 hands, it’s become a bit of a habit now tho ☠️
Who cares if they don’t hand you the package with two hands Uniqlo is endorsed by the best athlete of all time Roger Federer.
You should've used the self checkout just leave everything in the basket and the scanner will scan everything in an instant.
This is true tho, ex worker here

But ive seen them do japanese training before the store opens
It is true actually
Congratulations, you just got an employee fired!
I don't think that how things work
Bro is this Ealing Broadway?

Nice
They only do that with cards and cash.
That works only in Japan my friend
Probably got the poor lad sacked
I wouldn't expect a min wage worker do all the Japanese antiques, not even in Japan.
Yu would of made the company look badder if yu returned it 🤣🤣🤣🤣✌🏽✌🏽
He didn't look japanese

All their stores are closing In usa.
Always had hard time there with sizes. I'm 6'4" and their clothes is mostly made for small Asians.
