You mentioned varnishing previously varnished wood; do you extensively cover how to properly view and efficiently remove varnish? The way I do it (heat gun, scraper) is fairly time-consuming and creates issues (roasting the surface of the wood). And this is part of (multiyear) maintenance for "traditional" varnish systems!

@@DanLeeBoatbuilding Thank you - this is a situation many of us are in. We acquire an older used boat that we are bringing back into form. Dealing with water damage, UV discoloration, and any number of other things that affect the appearance of wood are all highly topical to us !
