    Between all his restorations, this one is the most beatiful. The color scheme, the glass look, the shiny. Beatiful. Awesome. I would buy this one if possible.

    Once again great work. I just think it would have been really awesome if you could have added and led to the acrylic ps1 logo on the controller. Also adding led's to the power, eject and reset buttons would have been really cool too. It is still really awesome just the way it is.

    That console looks amazing! I wish I had that laser cutter, I'd love to do something similar, I've now got the idea of the buttons but fill the power led light hole and re route the led to back-light the power switch

    Love these videos! Do you ever paint the controller ports?? Why or why not? I see some customizers skip painting it and I wonder if there's a way to safely paint them.

    A wonderful restoration and customization, I have to say the paint stripping part was really satisfying, but not as much as the outcome. I am guessing whoever painted it previously did not prepare the case for painting, and did not apply any protective layers either.

      Hi, yes I always use it to give me a smooth foundation and to avoid what happened with that gold PS1. I recommend adhesion promoter before painting plastics.

    That looks like the paint job I tried on a broken Dreamcast decades ago. I posted a photo on Gamefaqs and it was called "one of the ugliest things I've ever seen" by one poster.

    What got you into this kind of line work on doing systems like this ? Would you do a video that has less speed for those who can learn in how to do their systems by themselves. Reason is is hard to catch up with the speed that you got . I want to know if you could go slow and explain in how you take apart and clean up the systems. And design them . Because it would help people to understand in how is done .

    Technically the large version was the PSX not the PS1 but a brilliant job nonetheless. That paint job before you started was shocking. My original Playstation still looks like new

    soaking plastic parts in Super Clean Degreaser would have been easier than scrapping and it dose not hurt the plastic. plastic modelers use it all the time ;)

    I don't think it was painted before. The correct term would be gold dipped :D That was one ugly PS. Very nice job! I especially like the glossy black lid.

    Hey Boss love all the Videos, your work is stunning for sure. I have a question, "does the Montana Gold Spray Paint need the adhesion promoter in order to bond to the plastic" or would a oil based primer work as well? And have you ever used Montana Gold Primer?

      Hi, I have never used Montana Gold Primer. But I recommend you to use some kind of adhesion promoter when painting plastics. Montana Gold Primer is an excellent option for this purpose. A little expensive for my pocket. Thanks for commenting. 👍🏻
