Development Commissioner and Addl. Chief Secretary & ACS, Finance, Govt. of Odisha & Trustee, OUIDF Shri R. Balakrishnan is a 1984 batch IAS Officer in the cadre of Odisha. He has worked in various capacities in Government of Odisha and Government of India. He has specialisation in Disaster Management and Election Management. He has served in Election Commission of India as Deputy Election Commissioner twice. He did his Post graduation in Tamil literature. He is a researcher in the field of Indology and has published many articles nationally and internationally on the cultural aspects of Odisha as well as Indus Valley Civilisation. He took over as Additional Chief Secretary (Finance), w.e.f 15.12.2014. Presently Shri Balakrishnan has taken concurrent charge of Development Commissioner-cum-Addl. Chief Secretary and ACS (Finance) since 30.11.2015 (A.N).

Hi sir, one of my greatest wish, we Tamil wants, need greatest names to current and next generation. It's a legacy. Atleast we need 1 lakh Tamil pure names from old literature. Bcoz nowadays all are mixed names of other languages. It kill our original names of legacy. One of two my friends name is Karikaalan, Meiazhagan. Want kind of names from our literature. I am going to disappoint many viewers about the Tamil culture and language, not intentionally, but because of circumstances.
The Tamil language is a polar language that has no connection to the Vedic religion, the Sanskrit language, the Aryan people and their descendants or the caste system. The Dravidians who dominate south India are the descendants of the Vedic people. They follow the Vedic religion and caste system but speak various south Indian languages. Tamil is a polar language, and it cannot be the language of the Dravidians, who are the progeny of the Aryans. The truth is that there are no original Tamils. Actually, the Vedic Dravidians destroyed them.
The origin of Tamil is a mystery. Everyone talks about Kumari Kandam, Lemuria, Sumeria and Elam. Most of it is wishful and fanciful thinking, though there is some evidence to show that Archaic Tamil was spoken in Sumer and in the Indus Valley. There is a gap of almost 2500 years between the disappearance of the Indus Valley and the emergence of Tamil in south India around C. 1500 BCE. Nobody has explained this. The Tamil Sangams were staged after the Aryan invasion of south India around C. 2000 BCE. The last Tamil Sangam was staged around C. 500 BCE to C. 300 AD. All the great Tamil literature appeared during this period. Nobody knows what happened during the first and second Tamil Sangam.
The Thiru Kural is an unknown book by an unknown author. Jains, Hindus, Buddhists and even Christians claim it as their own. The Kural is the only survivor of the vast literature of Archaic Tamil that was banned and destroyed by the Vedic Dravidians (Saivites and Vaishnavites}.
As for Keeladi, it is not confirmed whether it is an Indus settlement, and it is dated around C. 1000 BCE to C. 800 BCE. This period cannot be included in the Indus period which is 4000 years older than Keeladi. It is possible that after the Aryan Invasion, many Indus people fled south in ships or along the coast and reached southern India and Sri Lanka. But no cities on the scale of Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa have been found anywhere in Peninsular India or in Sri Lanka.
The only place that is confirmed to have been visited by the Indus people is Easter Island, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The Rongorongo script of Easter Island is identical to the Indus script.
The Tamil mystery is an unsolvable puzzle. The question is, why do Dravidians, who are not original Tamils speak the present version of Tamil? Nobody seems to have an answer.
