You’ve been lucky. I watched someone (no names mentioned) attach ground first and then the positive wire accidentally touched his crash bar and put a nice black sparky chip into the surface of the crash bar.
Great video. I have your full kit on my r1250gs and I’m plucking up a r1300gs soon so I’ll be ordering from you again. I’ve checked your channel but I haven’t found a sound bomb instal on the 1300 yet. Have you found an easy fitting solution? Thank you.
They are Factory but wait for a new video coming soon talking about the factory and Touratech bars. We sell the Touratech ones here abikething.com/shop/filter-tax=brands:285
Once again thank you for your videos and Merry Christmas! I’m sure you have already explained it, but sorry I don’t remember. Why do you prefer Ex Ezcan better than Can Smart since you are installing Denali lights? Thanks!!!
It makes no difference, however the Hex ezcan will always come first as Hex make it for Denali so it makes sense that i want to work closely with Hex as I'll always been seeing and working with the latest products before Denali have it. But essentially it makes no difference. I do however prefer the harness kits that are optional with the Hex ezcan. Denali cansmart always comes with a harness kit but it's a harness kit you might not need depending on your application.
I removed the original Fog Lights OEM and replaced them with D7 pro, I have a fault message calling out that the fog lights are missing, any suggestions?
I do think it is possible but it’s just easier to remove it. We’ll be doing another video in the future to show our new mounts so I’ll try ti remember to see if we can apply the products without removing the tank
@@ABIKETHINGBike is home, want to move the oem lights to crash bars and run Denali d4 up top, still wish to know if any options exist to wire canbus w/o taking off tank. and is there a extension wire available to extend the oem lights? thx,
There is a really old video from nearly 5 years ago where I did an installation in Thailand and i show how set up the lights. If you scroll through my vids and sort into most popular it’ll be in the top 10 I think.
This is not an adventure bike…..in my opinion. To take this bike on an adventure I’d be taking it off the beaten track and using soft rackless bags…..not cases. Hard cases are for tarmac mile muchers who have no intention of dropping their bike. Remember a hard case when dropped could do no end of damage to the bike.
@@ABIKETHING - This bike is perfect for long distance highway and for rutted two track, forest roads and gravel. It can also carry a quite a load while doing it. Pannier racks that can accept clip-on hard cases AND soft cases fits this bike best. It's not a sport bike.
Steve i laughed out loud when ya buddy said the " screenwash" bottle !! I wonder how many people thought wow its got a sceenwasher ! C'mon own up ! 😂😂
Many tnx. Look fwd to the mods and am awaiting my 24
Oh dear me, regarding battery terminals, always done it opposite to you, nothing ever gone bang. But I will start doing it your way here on 🎉🎉👍

Another great vid👍 have a good Christmas, look forward to seeing more
Tom said he had to remove the screen wash bottle to get the plug through, did he have to remove the ash tray as well 🤷♂️

Thank you for another nice video much appreciated!
Merry Christmas
Top notch, very good show.
Many thanks for the video! How does the lights respond when the hazards are turned on + brake light + direction indicators are on as well?
Great video! Full of inspiring ideas. Are those the factory or aftermarket crashbars?

The plug and play Weisser’s are amazing! It’s what BMW should have done.
Thank you!!!
Great video Steve, very useful. My only worry is getting hte fuel tank on and off, hopefully easier than the 1250 GSA
We think it is
Great to be more visible! Shame about the price
Any idea how you customize the ezcan when you don't have a laptop? I only have a desktop that lives 2 levels above my shared garage... so.... :)

Nice one. I should get one fitted.
When is the Bluetooth attachment for the cansmart/hex a going to finally be released?
Sorry, I don’t know. 🤷♂️
The T3 light is a little short to my eyes. Would have been perfect if it's the same length as the reflector above the license plate in my opinion.
Sure, we do sell the B6 rear light too which will also work.
Is it a must to remove tank? Any wiring options w/o tank removal?

do you have a video on how you adjust your spots?

No panniers on an Adventure bike - brilliant!

Is it possible to strobe the Denali aux lights with pass light switch only?
Yes
What would be clearer is if the indicators weren't the brake lights in the first place, 😂
