This Nanobox Fireball is the reason you aren't successful with music. You don't even know 5% of the stuff I know about music, because you spent all your time on shallow materialism and consumerism. This Fireball you are trying to figure out how to force yourself to use, is a joke object for someone like me who just worked on composing for 300 hours without taking a break except to sleep. I take music very seriously, you take consumerism seriously because you don't know what it feels like to win.
When this box came out, I was completely uninterested. The lemon drop caught my eye more. This video has made it seem more interesting than any other I have seen. I would like to see videos just on how you use it. If you do some sound design for a patch you are actually going to use, how you set it up in your live rig, or writing a song with it. I am not interested in a tutorial. I would like to see how you use it in your creative process.
Awesome. Yeah, just doing a straight tutorial is something I want to avoid this time. I'm happy to see several folks suggesting songwriting, I definitely want to do a video on that.
I agree $400 is just at the edge of budget gear. Some of your followers might have a good point. I understand you’re aversion to an iPhone app for a live rig but what about incorporating an iPad into your rig? It could be a powerful and versatile tool
I'm not sure why, but I just have the hardest time trusting something like a phone or tablet in a live environment. I know folks like Jordan Rudess use iPads, but I'm not sure I could ever shake the uneasy feeling I have towards phones and tablets in a live setting.
The 1010 Nanoboxes keep catching my attention. If I ever did pick one up, it would likely be the Lemondrop, but both seem like fun little synths with a lot of functionality. I would love to see you use it to create a completed song, and your process. My biggest curiosities are around how much menu diving they require and if they're actually useful in practical situations.
So remember the good old make a song in 10min? Id like to kinda see that. Hook-up the Polyend play and use the 1010 as a sound module, find a nice patch. And go on from there making a sick loop / jam :D Maybe it could be Sunday jam thing "Fireball and beats"? I'm mainly interested in hearing it in context of a song / jam. Also why not use a phone app? 🙈
This would be awesome! I was thinking the tracker mini would be perfect for controlling it, and the tracker workflow can be super fast to work with the time limit
maybe just make a jam with it and some other gear does it sync with po's ? you made it sound good and there is only mainly sound demos of the lemon drop
I have the FB but there is a sustain bug that can rear it's head when chaining the FB with other midi devices. The notes on the FB will hang. Hopefully they will patch this soon.
ive been waiting so long for someone to have both a nanobox and nts 1. i cant find a single video that has them both. i hope to hear a lemondrop and nts 1 jam soon!
I love the FB. I have a space limited set up so having something that sounds so versatile in such a small box is invaluable to me. I dont have serum or a DAW so can't make my own WTs but a quick google brings up a huge resource of free downloadable WTs and i have thousands on the thing now so it's really a limitless machine. Love it. In terms of what content to make? Maybe just enjoy this one?
Here is an somewhat random idea: if it has 2 wavetables and a third oscillator then it could act as a bitimbral synth, that switches timbres using a CC number. (You have to find a way to have 1 CC turn the volume of one osc down and another up). If that is possible, maybe you can write a cool sequence for it on the polyend tracker mini alternating between the timbres. Anyways, any woovebox or tracker mini sequencing this thing and modulating it by using CC would be fun.
i have the bluebox and really am intrigued by the others ... I'd like to see someone actually DO something with them. like make a song, how you use it in live performance, etc. i mean all the capabilities it the world meam nothing if they arent used.

Actually just sounds like you're an ass lol.
I spent 400 hours composing and my music, which I take super seriouth, is the best ever 😹
Dude you may want to call a chiropractor to see if they would be able to pull your head out of your ass. I hope you can get some help
@zyxyuv1650 Who hurt you?
this HAS to be ironic right?
Every soon to be poorer man starts a sentence with “I just needed one more Synthesizer”
Yeah this is certainly true lol.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'd love to do a songwriting video :)

Great idea, I'll give that a shot!
Creating a sound while making a peanut butter jelly sandwich
Spicy or no?
I had the Nanobox Lemondrop for a while, they're certainly cool
Nice!

Sync'd with the PO-32 could be pretty sweet!
@@FreeBeat yes 🙌

Oh interesting, I haven't encountered that on mine.
So ... how do you really feel about using a phone app on stage ... LOL!
👽
It would be great to see you stream with the fireball, maybe show off your newfound sound design skills
Wednesday Fireball Stream incoming!

also love your channel. it helped me a ton deciding what synths to get. especially the nts 1
or a fireball and nts 1
regarding the first comment
Thank you so much!
@@FreeBeat no problem!

That's the whole thing haha, I originally bought it just for the live rig, but I'm enjoying it so much that I *do* want to make videos with it :D
This looks cool
Yeah I'm really enjoying it!
love my lemondrop
So do I! And the Fireball and Tangerine are high up on my wishlist. I suppose I should add the razzmatazz, too, just to be complete. LOL!
Nice!

That's very interesting, I'll have to mess around with that!
I am waiting for the tangerine….
Tangerine should be cool!
It would be great to use this nano box with the deluge sequencer and then put the audio out to the audio in of the deluge for effects
Great idea, thanks!
Nice video!
Thanks Wigges!
Can you make a nasty dnb/ serum type bass?
i have the bluebox and really am intrigued by the others ... I'd like to see someone actually DO something with them. like make a song, how you use it in live performance, etc. i mean all the capabilities it the world meam nothing if they arent used.
You got it :)
Connect an effect pedal and experiment. Go deep
Would definitely be fun!
16 patches in sequence... troll you later
I'm confused haha
@@FreeBeat I liked this video. The suggestion is to make 16 patches and sequence them.
You could do this on a phone app
Which costs far more, lacks midi interface etc. Think of something original to say. Zzz.
