    I played 10 years with a 100 aero, change to the 98, felt that it gives me lot more control on the baseline shots, volley and the serve is so much better.

    Thx for the comparison! I agree with your assessment - I found the 98 to be more direct, whippier, controlled. The 100 was great but just a little clunky, and I felt less confident hitting all out with it. Slice backhands, one of my mainstays, pop up more with the 100. Where the 100 is better is put away volleys and more powerful serve. 98 all the way for me!

      At this point I struggle to see a use-case for the 100. It kind of makes me sad as I grew up with the ADPs, but I think their true spirit lives on in the 98.

    I’ve used both, crazy how different they are. The 100 felt a bit clunky, couldn’t serve to save my life, bit of a trampoline. Just got the 98 and had a few sessions, oh boy my forehand and serve feel unbelievable. OHBH is taking a bit to dial in with the speed this cuts through the air, reminds me most of the VC95. Only been playing committed tennis about 16 months but I play all the time and really developed my strokes. Worried at my stage I still need the forgiveness of 100, but have hit with 98 in Ezone and vcore before and enjoyed. Any thoughts or is this one of those “only I can decide in my heart…”

      The grommets on the VS are oval shaped at 12 and 6. TW also quotes higher twistweight and swingweights on the 98 (although we don't know what variances they are seeing). • @AlycardA001AA
    @AlycardA001AA 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    @TennCom in all his videos about pro’s rackets does what… adds G’s everywhere possible because that’s the key to those pro kind of shots. So no need to choose between this Pure aero or other, take any head speed or extreme or gravity or Yonex with base weight 300g non strung, add at least 20 g of weight 3 and 9 o clock position and handle , make sure the stiffness rating is below 65 to keep that elbow safe and string tension on poly’s max 24/25 kg. There you have it! The ultimate cheat! Will be ripping the ball.

      @@TennCom Thanks Beckett ! I'm just thinking about switching to Aero 98 from PSX - which I play very well from my groundstrokes, but my serve with PSX (probably due to heavyness, however my PSX weight 338g with string, so maybe its underspec) is so weak compare to lighter rackets. I play mostly on clay, use a lot of topspin and need something like the PSX's own (for stability and power reasons, lighter rackets is better for my serve but worse for my groundstrokes), but which would help me with my serve. I've noticed that 98's better than 100's for my serve. Of course I'll get a demo of Aero 98 from a local store, but the question is whether you think such a change (PSX to Aero 98) makes sense.
